Y/N POV
Clem and I continue to walk toward the warehouse. "How much farther?" She asks, turning to face me.
"Not long. Should be around this intersection here." I point to the four-way intersection ahead. I look at her waist and see my jacket. "How did you even get my jacket?"
"You left it in Prescott." She says. "Do you want it back?"
"No. It looks cute on you." I say but immediately regret it. Her face reddens as she looks away. "T-That's not what I meant."
She turns to face me, pouting. "So you don't think I'm cute?"
"You know what I meant!" I say. She laughs at my reaction.
"I hope this warehouse has food," Clem says, rubbing her stomach.
"It does. I was just here." I say. "Now, it doesn't have showers or anything. Sorry to disappoint you." I say which causes her to laugh.
"Thanks for letting me know smartass." She smiles.
I remember the last time I saw her. It was Wellington. She was much shorter, and her voice was slightly squeaker. She's sort of matured since then, and it's nice to see. The only thing that hasn't changed is the fact I am still taller than her.
"You've gotten taller," I say, stopping in the middle of the road. She stops to look at me.
"And?" She crosses her arms.
"Still not taller than me," I get close to her and compare our heights. I'm not much taller than her, but I am taller than her by a few inches.
"I'm going to end up killing you before we even get to this warehouse." She playfully punches my arm.
We arrive at the warehouse and I open the door and walk in. The place is the same as I left it, candles unlit everywhere. I turn to Clem who closes the door behind us. "It's not big, but the place is enough for two people."
"That's fine." She smiles.
I walk over to a bag I left on a table and open it. There's a can of beans in it and I grab it. "Heads up," I call out to Clem, throwing it at her. She catches it. "I'll get you a can opener in a second." I look around in the bag and find the can opener. I toss it to her and she opens it. She begins to scarf it down which makes me laugh. "We can rest here for a bit, but then we need to get back and find AJ."
"Right." Clem says.
We both sit in silence as she finishes up her can of food. When she does, she throws the can away. "You think Kenny and Christa are looking for us?" I ask.
"Yeah, but I'm sure Christa knows why I ran away." She says. "Hopefully she told Kenny."
"Yeah," I say as I sit down on the floor.
The warehouse itself didn't have much to it other than some supplies I had gathered over time. I was fortunate enough to come across a sleeping bag, but considering there are two people here now it's going to be hard to share it. I'll more than likely just let Clem sleep in it for tonight.
3rd POV
"She what?" Kenny screamed.
"She ran away. Well, they both did." Javi says. "Y/N and Clem."
"For fucks sake," Tripp says. "Should have known they'd pull some bull shit. How convenient is it that we find out Richmond is New Frontier territory, and now all of a sudden when we get to it they dip on us? They even knocked out Conrad!"
