~Getting Shot In Line Of Duty~

Rindo Kaito POV:

It was one of those afternoons and I was at work...doing what I needed to do

"Sir Kaito! Have a situation down at Hosu City!"

"Roger that!"

I quickly went down the area where Hosu city was at and quickly followed the location where exactly the shoot down is being taken.

"Almost there!" I tell my fellow police officers on the walkie talkie I had in my hand.

"Good!"

I quickly found the location and alerted the police officers about my appearance.

"I'm here!"

"Glad you showed up! The shooter has been on a rampage for awhile now!" The police officer told me, as I grab my gun and make sure to take off the safety.

"We're not sure why he is doing this, but we're almost there on getting him to accept defeat!" The police officer told me, as I take cover when a bullet was about to hit me and my fellow police officer.

I quickly start getting closer to the shooter, there I was able to hear him.

"These good for nothing heroes aren't going to make the world better!" The shooter hollered out, as I quickly dive down when he made more bullets shoot out.

This guys is crazy for sure, but I think I have to be bold and go tackle him down. I quickly sneak up to a big bolder.

I take glance at the villain and it seemed he hasn't noticed me. I than took two quick deep breaths and lunged my gun at the shooter.

The shooter saw that, but accepted the bullet in his arm, he started bleeding a bit. He than quickly grabbed a gun he had in his pocket that he didn't use at all and shot the bullets out of it....right at me.

I quickly felt the bullet hit me in the stomach. Everything was in slow motion, my vision began to blur. I fell back and grabbed my stomach. All I felt was pain down there. I than felt something wet down there.

Don't tell me I peed...

I adjust my free arm and helped pull myself up a bit from the ground. I take a glance at the shooter to see the police officers tackling him down.

He tried to resist, but the police officers eventually put cuffs on his arms and legs and took him into the police car.

The other police officers came my way and checked on me.

I point down my stomach to tell them that I feel a pain down there.

"Oh no! Someone get the ambulance, NOW!" One of the police officers said, as she grabbed some towels that the police officers had and pressed them down on my stomach.

I look to see my tan white skin now becoming pale. I see all of the blood that is soaking all over the towels, there was a lot..

"Just stay with us Chief!" The police officer told me as she gave me a firm look.

I just faintly nod, but I couldn't really stay awake so I fell asleep and than I woke up and saw that I was being put into the ambulance, I than closed my eyes again...

I woke up again...but this time, instead of seeing the sky, I saw big blurry flashy lights. I quickly adjust my vision since it was blurry. Once my vision adjusted, I saw that I was in the hospital.

What happened..?
