Here's one thing that I enjoy about kyman, it's humor and drama/conflict, I find kyman more realistic in the show than style (no hate to style shippers your cool)because that doesn't have much comedy potential Like Stan and Wendy were meant to mock traditional grade school romances seen in cartoons. Eric and Heidi, initially, were meant to mock douchey couples who do everything together – and later on the joke came from how toxic their relationship was, Eric and kyle would just be another toxic relationship and we have seen there are a handful amount of toxic relationships in South Park and the amount of comedy potential it would have is just crazy! Heres an Idea from someone I saw (idk how made it I just saw it and was like 😮)

But there's so many ideas to how there relationship would form and and them as a couple throughout the rest of the show! In Conclusion, them as a couple is comedy, Gold at its finest! And there rivalry is a very important part of the show so it just makes sense in my opinion.
