Okay Stan is actually the one who hates Cartman, not Kyle. The way I can tell is that Stan goes out of his way to ignore & avoid Cartman while Kyle doesn't. That's how you can distinguish genuine hate from fake hate.
Genuine dislike is just not wanting to be around someone because they annoy you, fake hate is trying to get that person's attention 24/7 bc either you don't actually hate them or you're just jealous of them LOL. I've read enough corny self-help books by now to know that when people go out of their way to hate on you instead of just leaving you alone they rlly just secretly admire you. There are s0000o many examples that show Stan is actually the one who hates Cartman. Kyle & Kenny, but mostly Kyle are really the ones who try to maintain a friendship with him and keep him in the group.
Stan is the one Cartman has the biggest strained relationship bc like why do we never see Stan & Cartman hang out one on one? Bc they don't like each other lol. Really the only Stan & Cartman episode in the entire show was "Two Days Before the Day After Tomorrow" when they crashed the boat into the dam and caused a flood but even THAT episode turned into a Kyman episode quickly be Cartman couldn't stop running his mouth Kyle when he was with Stan LOL. And then poor Stan was put into the middle of Cartman & Kyle's dumbass drama bc Cartman is like "Stan don't tell Kahl!1!1!" & wanted him to keep it a secret and then Kyle on the other hand is like "You have to tell someone1!1!1" But Stan actually has logic and common sense and he's 100x more mature and level-headed than Kyle so he understands the concept of actually ignoring someone and letting shit go when they bug you which Kyle doesn't seem to get. But another reason why Cartman gets along less with Stan is bc he can't manipulate him and use him as easily as the other boys because of this. Stan is more confident and level-headed than Kyle, Kenny, & Butters and he actually has self-respect so he's not gonna let Cartman walk all over him. So he takes Cartman's power over him away by not letting him get under his skin. But Cartman is a narcissist and he wants attention and he also loves to play on everyone's emotions and manipulate them which is why he's able to manipulate Kyle, Kenny, & Cartman more easily. Like honestly remember in "Crack Baby Athletic Association" when Kyle fell for Cartman's shit and did the crack baby thing with him, but Stan was just not having it and didn't want any part in it and thought Kyle was didn't want any part in it and thought Kyle was being nuts. feel like Stan is way closer to Kyle & Kenny and likes them wayyy more than
Cartman he only tolerates Cartman and tries to get along with him bc Kyle & Kenny like him.
There have been a TON of moments where
Stan is actually the one who makes the effort to exclude Cartman from the group or kick him out not Kyle. In The Streaming Wars when Stan & Tolkien were making those boats, Stan let Kyle and Kenny in on it but not Cartman. He didn't want Cartman to get involved bc he knew he would fuck things up so he told them not to tell anyone else. KYLE was the one who felt bad for excluding Cartman and went out of his way to ask Stan if they should get Cartman to help. And then when Cartman got on the bus and looked sad because he lives in a hot dog, Kyle & Kenny were the ones who looked sad and felt bad for Cartman, not Stan. And
then Kyle fucking simped later in the episode by letting Cartman in on it so they could raise money for his mom's "surgery" So I feel like
Stan just went along with that bc it was what Kyle wanted and Stan doesn't know how to stand up to Kyle LOL. That's like a BIG aspect of Stan & Kyle's friendship is Stan only puts up with Cartman's crap and Kyle & Cartman's drama bc he doesn't want to upset Kyle and he knows Kvle likes Cartman. Honestlv Stan & he knows Kyle likes Cartman. Honestly Stan &
Kenny know what's up between those two they just don't say anything bc they probably want them to figure it out themselves before outing them. Another time Stan deadass kicked Cartman out of the group was in "Bebe's Boobs Destroy Society" when they were trying to make room for Bebe and then at first
Cartman wanted to kick Kyle out and Stan is like "no we're not kicking out Kyle" so then they kicked out Cartman which was probably Stan's decision LOL. And finally in the episode "The Death of Eric Cartman" when the boys were all pissed off at Cartman for eating the skins off
the chicken, it was actually STAN who got the most pissed off at Cartman not Kyle. Which was understandable bc they were eating the kfc at Stan's house and so Cartman was a guest in his home so he had the right to be mad about that be he probably wouldn't have let Cartman over under any other circumstance but he just did anyways bc he was with Kyle & Kenny. So Stan was the one that had the idea to ignore Cartman altogether and not Kyle. And he also questioned why they even hang out with him in the first place and he was like "it's not like we're ever nice to him we rip on him all the time" you know bc Stan thinks like a normal sane person who would awnid a nerson that was rinning on them and thinks like a normal sane person who would avoid a person that was ripping on them, and Kyle was like "yeah but he thrives on that" which show Kyle understands Cartman the most and he knows them ripping on Cartman is just giving him attention and making him cling to them but Kyle doesn't care bc he likes being around Cartman. When they were
"ignoring" Cartman Kyle was the one who had the hardest time with it and kept still stalking Cartman to see what he was up to LOL. I feel like one of the main the reasons Kyle acts all fake and pretends to hate Cartman is so that he can stay friends with Stan bc he's worried if he admits he likes Cartman and wants to be around him way more then Stan will get annoyed and not want to be his friend anymore or some shit bc Stan doesn't like being around Cartman as much. But also be Stan is more popular than Kyle and so Kyle wants to maintain his friendship with Stan to keep up his good guy reputation, bc I mean Stan actually is a genuinely good person and he isn't LOL and so that the other students will like Kyle too. It seems soo fucking obvious sometimes that Kyle tries way too hard to be like Stan but he just isn't like him, he's more like Cartman and he doesn't want to admit it.
It's not bc Kyle likes Stan, it's be of his fragile little ego and and wanting to seem like he's better than everyone.
I mean explain why Kyle always acts nicer to Cartman when it's just them one on one but whenever he's with Stan THAT'S when Kyle shits on Cartman the most. Something I noticed in the "Crack Baby Athletic Association" episode how literally every time Kyle hung out with Cartman they got along and shit but then whenever Kyle would go talk to Stan about what they were doing, like that moment he said he was sounding like Cartman, Kyle would pull a 180 and go turn on Cartman again and yell at him or some shit.
Stan's the one who influences Kyle to be a dick to Cartman. Period. And it's sooo fucking obvious that Cartman holds A LOT of resentment towards Stan for this, that's why Cartman is always happy when Stan & Kyle
are fighting and he can have Kyle all to himself.
And he always gets all jealous and pissy towards Kyle the most when he's with Stan. He doesn't like how Kyle acts all fake and pretends to be this good noble saint around Stan and so Cartman just wants Kyle to let loose and be himself.

(( also stan considers cartman a acquaintance either than a friend and Kyle still calls cartman a friend))

Authors note)) SORRY for neglecting y'all for a lil but I lied we have one more chapter left for this whole book to be finished. Byee!!
