Kiara sighs, "Well, there's like 1,000 trains here."
"Well, we know it's car 750X on the track to Raleigh," Pope says.
JJ nods, "Yeah, so now we just gotta find it."
"Well news flash. We're not getting out of here unnoticed with a giant cross," Kiara says.
"We won't have to. We can nab it somewhere further in the country."
Bella nods, "If done right we can make it look like the door was left open and the cargo just fell out. Happens all the time. I think."
"Just gotta figure out how to stop the train."
Kira sighs, "Right."
"Leave that to me," JJ says.
"How you gonna do that?" Cleo asks.
"Well I got an uncle up in New Bern, right? When he got tipsy, he'd just throw an old chain across the tracks, just for shits and giggles. And that old little chain would stop all the train traffic in coastal Carolina."
"A chain?" Kiara asks skeptically.
Pope says, "He's actually right. There's a low-voltage current that runs across all rail tracks. Throw a chain on it, you close that circuit. It would read as another train. Crossing lights come down."
"We have to be careful where we toss it though. There could be a connector that the train could reroute to," Bella says.
Pope nods, agreeing, "Science is actually pretty sound."
"Science. I knew my science," JJ grins.
"Well we don't have a chain."
Sarah thinks, "No but I bet Topper's dad has jumper cables in the truck. Would that work?"
"Yeah."
Topper shouts from below them, "Yo! What's going on? Are we doing this?"
"Just a light threaten? Please?" Bella whispers to JJ.
He shakes his head smiling, "No Ella. Play nice."
"Alright, you all wait here," Cleo says. "Me and Pope will go look for it and send a signal once we find it."
"Do we actually have a plan right now?" Sarah asks.
JJ smiles, "Think we do."
"That's impressive."
"Let's not jinx it while we're ahead. Come on," Pope leads the way as they climb down.
Cleo says, "Nobody ever listens to me."
Sarah laughs.
"What's taking so long?" Sarah asks.
