It had been a few weeks since the recommendation exams, and shortly the official UA entrance exams. It held a week after and the results were being compiled. Izuku wasn't cocky, but he was pretty sure he got in. The principal himself actually called in to congratulate him on his performance, that alone was more than enough proof. The rest really was just a formality. He chuckled a bit thinking of a certain blond haired pomeranian. "He'd most likely get in. He does have an amazing quirk if you look past his shitty attitude" he mused.
His mom came in with a letter of admission, which in honesty didn't surprise them at all.
"I guess you're in honey, not that it was really a surprise" his mother said with a sheepish laugh.
"Yeah, can't wait for my first day" Izuku said looking down at the letter.

-
It wasn't long before UA's school year officially began, and now the campus was filled with new faces. Izuku walked silently towards his class - 1a, wondering what kind of classmates he would have. 'Probably that Todoroki kid. He was awesome' he thought to himself. Izuku didn't really have friends growing up, some due to his highly known status and some just riding his coattails. He didn't really have anyone that was genuinely not trying to get anything from him- well except Bakugo. So he was pretty hopeful that his name wouldn't be the reason people would like him. It took longer than he expected to get there and he slid the door open just as Aizawa was getting up to shut down the chatter. They both locked eyes for a brief moment.
"You're late" Aizawa stated still not looking away.
"Mistake. Won't happen again" Izuku said also not looking away.
Aizawa nodded and Izuku quietly walked past ignoring the glare Bakugo gave him.
Aizawa cleared his throat and began
"Allow me to officially welcome you to UA. I'm Shota Aizawa your homeroom teacher, and I'll be the one overseeing your progress as heroes. If you think this is going to a fun, easy time then you probably do not belong here. With that said get changed into your gym uniform and meet me outside"
The class began to murmur and a brown haired girl spoke up.
"What about orientation?"
Aizawa looked at her before answering.
"Here at UA we don't abide by the normal protocol, meaning I can run my class however I see fit. You didn't come here to get your little egos inflated even more. Get changed and meet me outside" he said walking out of the class.
The class broke apart rushing to their respective changing rooms so as not to get on Aizawa's bad side.
Izuku had read the map attached to the admission letter so he knew exactly where he was going - though the same couldn't be said for the others. Whilst changing he felt the very familiar burning gaze of his long time rival.
"I'm not gay Bakugo. I told you already" he said with an exasperated sigh. Bakugo's face turned bright red with embarrassment and anger.
"The fuck you just call me?!" he yelled as his palms were popping.
"You keep staring at me, I don't know what you want from me but you'll get it soon" Izuku said as his demeanor changed suddenly alarming everyone - including Bakugo.
"L-lets hurry out" said a red haired boy trying to calm the mood down.

-
Outside Aizawa gauged his students based on what he could see, and honestly he wasn't too impressed, a few did catch his eye though - being the recommended students and Katsuki Bakugo. He may not have been recommended but he sure as hell was up there with them, though he may need a few attitude adjustments here and there. The student that stood out most to him though was Izuku Midoriya. The boy who was seemingly born with his quirk, it was the first time that any child had ever been born with a quirk that wasn't a mutation - or so it seemed. He had since been kept from most publicity and was trained by the Hero Safety Commission. A kid his age couldn't have gone through all that without having a few dark secrets. He had always been sceptical about the Hero Safety Commission, and if this kid was somehow linked to them then he needed to be watched closely.
"Katsuki Bakugo step up" he said as he threw a ball at the blond.
Bakugo looked a bit confused as he walked out onto the clearing.
"I want you to throw this ball as far as you can. How far could you throw it in middle school?"
"About 79 metres" Bakugo answered.
"Alright. Do that but use your quirk this time, and don't hold back or I'll expel you" Aizawa said backing up.
Bakugo nodded and took a short glance at Izuku who surprisingly enough was paying close attention.
'Time to blow their minds to hell' he thought cockily reeling back his arm.
"DIE!!!" he yelled as with a massive explosion the ball was sent rocketing out of sight.
Aizawa watched unfazed amidst the awe of his students. The device in his hand beeped and he displayed the results.
"900 metres. Impressive"
Bakugo inflated seeing he had managed to impress Aizawa. Izuku had to wait a while for his turn, so far the only notable throws were from Bakugo, Todoroki and Uraraka who got infinity. Aizawa threw him a ball and he stepped into the circle.
"Go ahead Midoriya" Aizawa prodded.
"You might want to back up quite a bit" Izuku said as his arm reeled back and grew to a gargantuan size. Then with a very loud boom the ball was launched far into the distance. The shockwave pushed everyone back and shocked most of them. Bakugo was stunned, he never knew Izuku could turn giant.
"1,600 metres" Aizawa said patting his hair back in place. He didn't think the kid would get that huge of a score.
"THAT WAS AWESOME!!!" a pink skinned girl yelled in excitement.
Aizawa had a snarl at her comment.
"Awesome eh? How about this. Last place ... gets expelled!"
The class tensed hearing this and the girl deflated in worry.
"Now onto the next test" Aizawa said with a sinister smirk.
The day ended and tests were over, though to everyone's surprise Aizawa didn't actually mean what he said when he threatened to expel them.
"Good job today, as you all can see this is how you're ranked according to your performance today. Though I would like to point out that this isn't going to remain so, all of you have different strengths and it seems arbitrary to judge you based on one test. Work hard and prove you belong in UA. Dismissed"
The students were let go for the day and they all headed back to their homes.
