The hype of the sports festival died down eventually and the next few days were given to those who were seriously injured or fatigued. However school quickly resumed shortly after. Aizawa walked into the class in a surprisingly good mood. His attire was actually funny to see. It was a sleeping bag that had legs, which made him look like some sus game character. It was thanks to Izuku who went through the trouble of getting it for him. The kid might just be his favorite student because of this.
"Good morning class, and congratulations on your performances in the sports festival. Though many of you are not satisfied I'm still proud nonetheless. Use this as  the motivation you need to surpass those at the top, with that said we'll be taking a look at the offer standings, and talking about your internship programs" he said clicking a button as the screen displayed their names and the number of offers that they got. Unsurprisingly Izuku was at the top with 5,200 offers, Bakugo second with 3,000 offers and Todoroki a close third with 2,800 offers.
"You'll be selecting a hero agency to intern with, select carefully and submit your choices at the end of the day"
Izuku looked down at his paper and sighed. It wasn't even a question where he was headed. At least he'd get to go on actual missions.

-
The students eventually submitted their choices and all left for their respective hero agencies. Izuku was going to work with the Hero Safety Commission for the duration of the internship and they granted him a temporary hero license to act if the situation called for it. Though he may not have had use for it anyway as he was assigned a special mission.
Recruit the hero killer Stain.
"You've been briefed on the particulars of this mission. We chose you because you're the best candidate for this, and also it will serve as a test to see if you're ready to work for us"
Izuku nodded and headed for the door.
"You know what to do if he doesn't comply" the chairwoman said in a neutral tone.
"Understood" he said and walked out.
He now had to track down Stain, though intel said he was in or around Hosu city. He had packed up supplies for the mission, which was probably going to take a while. A man like Stain wouldn't stay in one place for too long. It was raining when he got outside and he wondered what his classmates were up to. Suddenly he remembered that Iida had chosen to go for Manual, a relatively unknown hero, but the location of his agency.
"Hosu city" Izuku said looking up.
Just what the hell was Iida thinking?
A few days had passed and Izuku's hunt for the hero killer continued, he did try to get info off some crooks but they weren't talking, so he decided to use the Hero Safety Commission's "persuasion tactics".
"ARGH!!!" a man screamed in pain as his fingernail was peeled open.
"You could save yourself alot of pain and tell me where he is ... Your friend told me you were in contact with him a few hours ago" Izuku said from behind his mask. The man gazed into the masked person interrogating him, he shuddered seeing two glowing green eyes that didn't look to hold any emotion.
"I'll talk! Please stop!" he yelled as Izuku grabbed another finger.
"I-i only s-sold him some blades! I'm a weapons dealer ... He had the cash so I traded him some blades ... He said he was heading to Kamino ward, then he'd be back in Hosu in two days. That's all I know I promise"
Izuku satisfied with the man's answer and telling that he really wasn't lying knocked him out and sent his location to the Hero Safety Commission.
"Kamino ward huh? That's not my mission anyways ... I'll wait for you hero killer" he said disappearing into the shadows.

-
Two whole days had passed and today was the day Stain would return to Hosu. Izuku suspected it had something to do with the newly dubbed League of Villains. It was getting dark and he was lying in a small crack in a wall. Being tiny sure had it's advantages. And spying like this was a piece of cake. He had taken out a few drug dealers, robbers and gangs in his few days here and he was content with the way things were. He wanted to be a hero, but he wasn't a big fan of the glam and pop normally associated with a pro. That's why they had All Might. He wanted to be the kind of hero that protects from the shadows. If innocents could sleep in peace without worry he was doing his job well. Deciding he should start moving he got out of the crack and began moving across the rooftops, stopping only to investigate or take down criminals. Something caught his attention as fire broke out from a part of the city. He made his way towards there and quickly doused out the fire before any pros could show up, and left as soon as they did to take on the Nomu that flooded the city.
Izuku made his way towards Manual's agency to check up on Iida, as the class president he had to look out for his classmates. He stopped in his tracks hearing the voice of said classmate in pain. He shrunk down and made his way towards the downed Iida and the now revealed Stain standing over him.
"Tell me young hero ... Are you here for revenge?" he asked in a cold tone.
"You monster! You injured my brother!!" Iida yelled in fury.
Stain raised his sword above the boys head about to stab him when Iida was suddenly knocked out.
Stain swiveled around on guard.
"Who's there?"
Izuku popped into view startling him.
"I'm not here to fight" he said taking off his mask. Stain's eyes widened in recognition.
"Izuku Midoriya ... You're the kid that won the sports festival. Just what the hell are you doing here?"
"I'm here with a proposal for you. I work for the Hero Safety Commission, and we're all about what you preach. Hero society is corrupt and we need to eliminate the errors from within. You have helped alot in that endeavor, but we're offering you a place with us"
Stain laughed and looked at him.
"Tell me Midoriya ... What kind of hero do you want to become?"
Izuku looked up in thought.
"Actually I think I already am that type of hero. I like to do the dirty work so all my peers can stay clean, I want innocent people to sleep without worry and I'll do anything to make sure that happens"
"Even if it means taking a life?" Stain asked curiously.
"If one has to die for a hundred to live then so be it. You can't save everyone, not even All Might can do that, at the end of the day there's only so much a hero can do ... we're all human, and I'll do what I can from the shadows to make sure that those in the spotlight can focus on spreading hope among the people that adore them"
Stain sheathed his sword and looked at Izuku.
"I've never heard such a selfless answer before, most are heroes for the fame and glory, others for the money. And here you are, a child who is willing to go this far for peace. You've convinced me ... I will aid you in your mission. Let's rid this world of it's lies and corruption" he said extending a hand.
"It's an honor" Izuku said accepting the handshake.
"So had I not agreed?" Stain asked
"I probably would've had to kill you" Izuku said with a nervous laugh.
Stain laughed as well despite the seriousness of Izuku's words.
"Let's get out of here before the heroes get here" Izuku said as they both jumped off into the darkness.
