Chapter 14

It hadn't even been a week since Izuku was sent to Tartarus and already he had escaped. Not only that but one of the inmates, former hero Lady Nagant was discovered to have committed suicide in her own cell - or so it seemed. In truth the Hero Safety Commission had another body used as a decoy and all this was done by Izuku. The news was on the prison warden's backside on this matter. Yet again the same kid left the prison with literally no resistance. A wide range search was issued and a bounty placed on Izuku's head. He was to be captured and brought back to Tartarus - though how they would keep him there was a problem in of itself. His classmates got the news and couldn't really say they were surprised. Rather it made them wonder why he even let himself get captured in the first place, this brought the thoughts to them that maybe Izuku really had another thing in mind getting arrested. After all there was never any proof that he committed any of the murders - even if the situation did point at him being the obvious suspect. Evidence was evidence and in this case there was none. Said target of the manhunt was currently sitting down in a crack in the wall with his accomplice.
"I can't believe you got out so easily" Lady Nagant said still surprised at how easy they escaped. They literally just walked out of the prison.
"I got in the same way the first time" he said looking at his phone.
Lady Nagant observed the boy in front of her. He had certainly been through alot. He reminded her of herself in a way, willing to do anything for the sake of peace, keep on going even when your mind is crumbling and all you need is to get away from everything.
"Why are you doing all this? You're aware that the world now sees you as a criminal" she asked. Izuku nodded.
"I know ... but even still. I want a world where the innocent can live without fear, where my friends can give them hope, and I'll do all I can from the shadows to help them. After all ... that's what being a hero is all about. Sacrifice. Even if it means you fall apart in the end you keep on going. You get what I mean right?"
"Yeah ... I do ..." she said looking down.
"Anyways I think we should head out now. The commissioner should be expecting us anytime soon" he said getting up. Nagant sighed and slung her bag over her shoulder.
"Lead the way"

It had been another whole week since Izuku's escape from Tartarus and the police had lost all hope of finding him, but for the sake of the populace they had to. City after city they searched and scoured but to no avail. It was as if he vanished from the earth itself.
UA had continued in it's regular school activities despite the Izuku fiasco. The first years had a friendly matchup between 1a and 1b. It was really close with 1a edging out their counterparts with 3 wins to 2.
It was then Izuku's absence hit them like a train. He was always the one to motivate them. If he were there he wouldn't have settled for anything less than a clean sweep. Deep down they all missed their class president, however not all saw him in such a good light.
"You may have won this one 1a, but at least our class president isn't a mass murderer! Can you imagine the shame he's brought on the school?! A monster like that should've never been accepted into this school!" Monoma from class B shouted. His classmates tried to shut him up seeing as it was a sensitive topic, but the boy was having none of it.
"Let them hear the truth! He's a villain! A mistake! A thr-" Monoma was punched square in the nose before he could finish his sentence.
"Shut the hell up. Don't speak about what you know nothing of. You don't know a damn thing about him!" Bakugo said glaring at Monoma. The boy backed away shocked that anyone would defend him.
"He may have done wrong ... but he's still our friend. And our class president. Never speak ill of him again" Momo said in a serious voice. The class backed her up and Monoma was left stunned.
Aizawa sighed and looked up.
'Why did you have to do that Midoriya?'

"Once again the Hero Safety Commission applauds you success yet again Izuku. You've proven to be an asset to us" the commissioner said.
Izuku bowed happy with himself.
"If I may ask. What am I doing here?"
Lady Nagant asked.
"Yes. We retrieved you from Tartarus because of your skill set. We're about to embark on a highly crucial mission and you'll prove useful in many ways" the commissioner replied.
"Damn kid you look like shit" Stain said walking into the room.
"Definitely feel like one right now" Izuku said laughing a bit.
"Stain? I thought you died? What's going on?" Nagant asked confused.
"As you can see I'm not dead. I work with the Hero Safety Commission now, and my death was all staged ... just like yours" Stain said. Her eyes widened as she realized the implication.
"Are you ... rehiring me?"
"Yes, though if you aren't interested it is understand" the commissioner said.
"I'm not a little kid. I know how this works ... I'm in, but once we're done ... I'm done. I just want a normal life"
The commissioner nodded.
"Very well. If this mission is successful, you'll be allowed to leave to wherever you wish. An ID will be prepared for you. New name. New life"
"Understood. What's the mission?" Nagant asked.
"Find the league of villains, eliminate them, but the main target ... Is All for One"
"All for One?" Nagant asked in shock.

In the world of villains there was also a sense of tension. All for One had picked particular interest in a certain Izuku Midoriya. A kid his age to be that powerful was an anomaly. And his quirk ... it sounded sublime. The ability to manipulate the size of ones body, and the size of everything that they touch. If only he could get his hands on that quirk. He probably wouldn't even need One for All. In his eyes Izuku's quirk was on par and in certain areas superior to One for All. With a quirk like that not even All Might in his prime would be able to defeat him. Now to hear that said boy had become a wanted criminal made him lick his lips in anticipation.
He had formed an alliance with the Meta Liberation front - a group that wanted to overthrow society. He had also began his preparations for his transfer into his new vessel Tomura Shigaraki. Because of the pace at which the heroes had been acting in it forced him to early preparation in upgrading his successors body to be able to hold All for One and his own consciousness. It had already been a few months and in about a week or two his new body would be ready for him to possess.
"Just you wait heroes. I will have the last laugh"
