The dice made a sharp impact against the inside of the cup.

Lin Lu’s eyes betrayed her excitement at the sound. The entire Lin Family could be reclaimed in under ten minutes.

Luo Ying ignored Lin Lu. As she leaned back, all she did was fiddle with the pendant in her hand. Jin Shi was taken aback by her cool composure. He knew his sister was good at these games, but Lin Lu must have rigged it.

What gave Luo Ying such confidence?

Lin Lu pushed her stack of chips as soon as the cup was set down. “Big.” The little bunny girl gave her a knowing look and nodded. She turned her attention to Luo Ying.

“Small,” said Luo Ying. She clasped the key ring in her hand and released it gently. She appeared unconcerned, as though the wager was irrelevant to her.

Lin Lu seemed a little flustered.

Was Luo Ying not taking this deal seriously? She would have to jump overboard!

Everyone looked at the dice as the cup was raised. It was a 6. Lin Lu let out a sigh of relief, and her smug grin returned to her face.

“Luo Ying, are you seriously going to plunge into the ocean? Hahahaha.”

Lin Lu’s humor was terrifying in its hollowness. Luo Ying raised her eyes up to stare at Lin Lu.

“Do I finally have your undivided attention now? You do plan to take a dip in the river, don’t you?” Lin Lu smiled and covered her mouth as she laughed.

Sighing, Luo Ying motioned for the bunny girl to keep shaking the dice.

The bunny girl kept shaking the dice as she held out her hand. The clear sound carried all the way through the building.

Everyone was intrigued when they heard that jumping into the water had been offered up as a wager. They approached the pair and watched with keen interest.

After the second throw of the dice, betting could begin.

A hurried “small,” from Lin Lu.

Luo Ying ignored Lin Lu. She merely whispered, “Big.”

A group of people gathered around Luo Ying and Lin Lu and immediately started talking animatedly.

“This time around, it’s a major event. That lady was spot-on. The odds of winning big this time are low, statistics say.”

“How did she manage to board the ship, anywvay? How did she manage to walk around in those tattered clothes of hers?”

“Yes, you heard correctly. The loser is going to jump into the water. Wow, that’s hilarious. They should have stopped this kid’s game long ago.”

Lin Lu heard the mockery.

However, nothing else mattered to her. She cocked her head to one side and rested her elbows on the table as she studied the dice. There was a glimmer of anticipation in her eyes. Her wish to reunite with the Lins was about to come true.

The cup was just raised, and three fives suddenly appeared on the desk.

The rabbit girl couldn’t believe her eyes. She swiveled around to face Lin Lu.

Lin Lu gnashed her teeth and stared at the bunny girl with venomous eyes.

The young bunny looked away.

As if these people did not matter to her, Luo Ying preoccupied herself solely with the pendant in her hand. Lin Lu’s eyes hurt from being treated so flippantly.

What was up with this woman and her tricks? She had obviously talked to Lu Wen about this. Could this lady have affected his decision?

The bell rang for the final round. The dice’s sharp noise was like the clash of two swords.

This sound was extremely piercing to Lin Lu’s ears. How likely was it that she’d end up losing to Luo Ying?

The players put down their dice, and silence descended. Luo Ying yawned and studied her drink in the cup. She opened her mouth awkwardly and uttered,

“Big. ”

Lin Lu finally lost her composure.

“Big. ”

Sighs were heard from the audience. It looked like the game would have to go on.

When the cup was broken open, three ones suddenly appeared.

Luo Ying gave a small yawn.

“Let’s call it a day here. Let’s just agree to a tie.”

Lin Lu looked down at her chips as Luo Ying stood up, but what she said next gave her the willies.

“Why do you have to resort to such measures in the casino, Lin Lu?”

She reached around the rabbit girl’s back and retrieved a magnet from the bundle of fur.

“Does the casino here possess such appalling standards?” Luo Ying sneered at her.

The bunny girl lowered her head. “Lin Lu was the only reason I gave in…”

Luo Ying’s interest in listening had waned. She retreated from the casino.

She had never been interested in such tactics.

Lin Lu was never her rival..
