The Northern Mermaid

One

Lyarra who is nine years old is walking through the Godswood looking for her half brother Jon, trying to avoid her own twin and their father's ward Theon Greyjoy. She also didn't want to go to the sewing group where she has to listen to Septa Mordane tell them how amazing Sansa is. Lyarra who is exceptional when it comes to her lady duties is always irritated how Sansa is being given more praises for being more of a southern lady then her. When she is in the Godswood a voice tells her to keep walking to come closer, confused she calls out "Jon!"

No reply. Lyarra walks closer just as Jon appears and his eyes widen in shock when a hooded figure grabs Lyarra who screams. "Let her go! Lyarra!" Jon screams

"Jon!" Lyarra cries

Jon runs and goes to attack but the hooded figure knocks Jon out, Lyarra screams so loudly that her parents who in their chambers heard. Guards ran to find Jon unconscious but Lyarra no where to be found since the hooded figure went through a portal to bring her to a moon pool.

"Jon!" Theon and Robb see Jon unconscious, going to his side. They shake him but he is unconscious still.

"Help!" Robb yells

Ned, Catelyn and the guards arrive to see Jon unconscious. Catelyn just stares blankly while Ned runs to Jon's side "Jon!" Ned looks at his son.

When Jon wakes up, Ned sighs relieved pulling Jon to him. Jon looks around frantic "Lyarra! Where is she?"

"What do you mean?" Ned asks

"Someone took her" Jon says "someone took Lyarra"

Catelyn reacts then coming over "Wha are you talking about?"

Jon points "A hooded figure grabbed Lyarra"

Guards go over along with Ned to see small footprints and large ones, Catelyn looks at Ned who orders "Get the hounds! I want my daughter found!" Catelyn gasps covering her mouth with one hand and the other with her belly not wanting to believe that her daughter is gone.

"My baby" Catelyn cries

"We'll find her Catelyn" Ned assured her "I will find our daughter"

Meanwhile the hooded figure who took Lyarra put her into a deep sleep when she kept screaming and kicking and hitting him, keeping her in the moon pool on Mako Island until the moon rose.

The hooded figure hides in the entrance leading to the island when the moon rises, he takes the spell off of Lyarra having her wake up. She looks around confused then scared, especially when the water in the moon pool begins to bubble.

She screams when the hooded figure has a fish of wind go through making her fall in, the mermaids of Mako Island felt the tailless spell be lifted so the Mermaid Council goes to investigate to see Lyarra in the water unconscious as the moon leaves.

"How did a human get in here?" Veridia demands

"Her clothing" Coral looks at Lyarra's clothing "isn't like most clothing land people wear"

"Let's bring her to land" Ara suggests "let's also keep an eye on her" the council brings the girl to land, once there she is laid on the sand. Rita who also felt the spell be lifted came to see what is going on.

"Rita" Veridia speaks looking at Rita "what are you doing here?"

"I was on my way home from a swim" Rita tells her "when I felt the same thing I assume you did" looking at the beach "who is the girl?"
