~Lyarra's POV~

"What" I ask the two outcast mermaids who are still here even though Rita told them to go back to Mako. I just arrived home from giving my latest order is a gown to someone, because of my sewing skills and learning how to design and create clothing I sell some dresses at a boutique for a lot of money—I like keeping myself busy "are you two doing here?" Lyla and Serena "and what is wrong with your skin?" I see this rash forming on them that doesn't look right.

"Lyla convinced me to" Serena tells me "try to stop the rain" it's pouring really badly outside and trying to stop a rainstorm is very hard, only very powerful mermaids could do it like the legendary Nerissa—Mimmi's mom "with the moon ring, we made it snow instead"

"Snow?" I ask, it's been a long time since I've seen snow—a couple years. I went to the Northern pod a couple years back to learn a few new spells since northern mermaids are dangerous and know really cool spells. Plus it gave me the chance to spend time with Mimmi. Shaking my head "Where is it snowing?"

"In the grotto" Lyla answers

"We tried to leave" Serena says "but the way our was frozen and Lyla made it worse"

Shaking my head as I look between them, the phone goes off "What's that?" Lyla demands

"The phone" I answer the land line "Santos residence, Lyarra speaking"

"Hey Lyarra" I hear David's voice "it's David"

"Who are you talking to?" Serena asks

"Who's that?" David asks "she sounds familiar"

"That's someone I know" I lean against the wall keeping Serena from pushing any buttons, I was like her when I first arrived here but Rita showed me how to work everything "what's up?"

"The ceiling" Serena says

"Is that Serena?" David asks as Serena turns on the speakers.

"How do you know?" Serena asks

"It's David" he informs her "from the cafe"

"How did you get in there?" Serena looks around the machine.

"Through the door" he answers "like always, what are you doing at Mrs. Santos's place?"

"She's my cousin David" I tell him

"Principal Santos is your aunt, Serena?" David asks "I thought it was just Lyarra"

"We're related maternally" I tell him "Serena's mom is another sister of Aunt Rita's"

"No kidding?" He asks "look, I've got your regular order to deliver. Mind if I bring it over since I've got it"

"No" I tell him as Serena yells "Yes!"

"I'll see you soon" he hangs up and I hit Serena upside the head.

"Ow" she rubs her head "why did you do that?"

"Because David will want to see you" I tell her

"That's good" she smiles "I really want to see him"

"Not" motioning to her current state "while your like this, how will you explain it to him then?"

"Oh" she realizes it

"She's right" Lyla agrees with me "what do we do?"

"You both hide" I tell them "when David gets here your both going to hide and stay hidden until he leaves" looking between them "I'll call Rita, inform her of this"
