"Hi Lyarra" I see Evie as I come downstairs to help David unpack the food he brought, she's been more nosy lately and I told Zac to keep his girlfriend in like. Zac has the trident that can kill people, I told him this and he and Cameron scoffed it aside like it was nothing. So now, I'm just going to wait till Zac ends up killing someone. He and Cameron both threatened Rita and I and now their on my shit list.

Now why is Evie here? "Evie...are you helping David bring the seafood?"

Nodding her head smiling "Yeah" looking at the two fridges, since the girls came we needed a second fridge "wow, that's a lot of fridge space"

"There's four of us" I remind her "so we need to fridge space"

"Hmm" she nods her head as I open the fridge

"No vegetables?" She asks

"We don't eat vegetables" Nixie explains

"Not every day" Lyla adds, I warned the three not to be too suspicious but here they are.

"You know" she laughs "I should eat more fish too"

"We all should" David says as he looks between us "it's good for the skin and the brain. Lots of omega three and all that sort of stuff"

"Well" Evie jokes "if I ate all this fish every day, I'd be a rocket scientist" she drops the one bag and I grab some paper towels "let me"

"Well" I say "I've got to finish some stuff" leaving the room, I go to the sewing room to finish one gown. Apparently this human is going to a wedding and needs a blue sexy gown, she told me the theme and how it's going to be outdoors so I've got the perfect dress in mind. Showed her the design and she loved it, so now I'm making it for her.

"Wow" looking over I see Evie here "that's beautiful"

"Thanks" I say "need something?"

"Needed the bathroom and saw this" she motions to the dress "I didn't know you could sew..." coming over to the dress "the stitch work is beautiful"

"Thanks" I say putting my things away, Rita gave me her old sewing room since she barely comes in here "someone is going to a wedding, needed a dress"

"You design all of these?" Evie motions to the designs I have.

Nodding my head "Every now and then I send some dresses over to Angelica's"

"Angelica's?" She asks in disbelief "that's a really high ended boutique, you need a month to two month's notice to even be seen by one of the designers" I stare at her "your one of the designer's?" Angelica's is this really high ended boutique like Evie said, the owner Angelica only hires the best of the best she says "I've tried getting the owner to see my work for years, how did this happen?"

Shrugging my shoulders "Aunt Rita needed a dress from the place, friend's wedding" she has human friends, we'll it was some years back and she went to Angelica's since her friend ordered the dress for her saying she wanted her guests to wear the best of the best "long story short, there was this dress that someone had a problem with and I helped out. The owner happened to be listening in and asked me some questions and now I work there from time to time" Evie looks at me jealousy.

"I got to get going" she leaves and I shake my head.

When I finish the dress, the girls come in frantic "What did you three do now?"

"Poseidon got out" Serena tells me

"And turned into Evie because of squid ink from the Mariana Trench" I spit my water out causing it to hit them, ten seconds later they fall down having their tails out.

"Really?" Nixie demands

Shaking my head "Poseidon won't be able to hold his tongue back, what if he says something to the wrong person" leaving the room "you three stay here, I'll fix this"

Looking around the place, I go that cafe where David tells me Evie or Poseidon went to the beach since Evie is here at her little boutique giving me nasty glares. When I get to the beach, I find Poseidon with Zac.

When Zac sees me he tells Poseidon something before running over "What did you do?"

"I did nothing" crossing my arms "I see you found Poseidon"

"Poseidon?" He asks "you mean Rita's cat, Poseidon?!"

Scratching the top of my head "Evie was snooping around today at Rita's house, I told you" punching his shoulder hard.

"Ow!" He rubs his shoulder

"Keep you girlfriend in line" punching him again. Looking at Poseidon "I'm going to bring Poseidon home since I know how to fix this" going over to Poseidon.

Poseidon brightens seeing me "The good mermaid" he hugs me and purrs licking my face "I love you so so much"

"I know" stroking his hair "let's go back home and get you a treat"

Poseidon nods his head "Only you know what I like"

Looking at Zac "Find Evie and talk to her, get her to back off...she's asking too many questions"

~Weeks Later~

"What did you do?" Nixie demands as we see Zac lie Lyla down onto the couch in the grotto.

"He killed her essentially" I say

"Lyarra" Rita scolds

Looking at Zac "I told you this would happen" he looks at me ready to cry "that if you kept going after that trident you could end up killing someone"

"I" he stutters "I found the trident, we fought and there was a flash and...I didn't mean"

"You did this?" Serena asks

"Just help her" he begs "please"

"We need to move quickly" Rita orders, I go over to Lyla and think about giving her life. Water surrounds me hand and the water glows, I have the water above Lyla and her entire body glows as the water goes into her skin.

"What is she doing?" Serena asks

Lyla gasps coughing waking up "Hoe did you do that?" Rita asks

Everyone stares at me "I don't know, I thought about helping Lyla and something was telling me..."

"Thank you" Zac hugs me and I pat him on the back as Rita looks at me.

After a few hours, Rita and I are alone "Was that a spell?" I ask

"It was" she confirms "a long forgotten" she hands me an old leather covered book "spell" opening it I see the words written in a language I don't recognize "this language is an Ancient form of Greek, over two thousand years old"

"I don't understand" shaking my head

"Lyarra" she takes my hands "your mother Carina was a very powerful mermaid, rivaled that of Nerissa...you are the same as her"

"Does that mean" I ask "I'm a powerful mermaid?" I know it's a stupid question but I need clarification.
