"There might be some of the mermaids I warned you of" Rita warns me "down in those caverns, they will appear very beautiful and trusting but they will attack. Unlike us they can breathe underwater but we have our speed and the power to become invisible, so use it and once your in the cavern get out of the water immediately"

I am standing on the edge of the boat I hired, I'm getting ready to dive but I'm not so sure. What if something happens while I'm down there? I know I was told not to but I'm using the lights that I bought, I asked the locals about this place and they all said the same thing. Dangerous mermaids haunt the area but I need to know. So placing my hand on the water I wait before I turn into a mermaid and then I dive, with my enhanced sight I see no sharks nearby so I dive down even faster till I come upon the city and look around hiding behind some rocks.

"Swim to the cave" I hear a female voice tell me, I don't trust it but then remember that the mermaids here sing not speak.

So I swim there and once I enter? I swim fast until I go up and end up in an underwater cavern. I see an entrance through a passage, I know I have to go there. I get out of the water just as I hear something, looking over my eyes widen seeing the mermaid that I was warned about. She stares at me as I go away from the shore.

She comes closer towards me and I quickly dry my body back into legs, standing up after a minute I walk backwards. She begins to sing holding her hand out, I don't go near her and she shows me her tail that isn't like mine where you have scales but this one has skin. Flesh. She has blonde hair, blue eyes and pale skin. Odd how she's the only predator I noticed. It was also quite odd how there weren't any sharks nearby. Didn't Rita say this place was filled with sharks? I doubt these mermaids ate all of them. Or did they?

"Go through the passage" the same female voice tells me "she won't follow"

Going through the passage, my eyes widen as I come upon this beautiful underground city. I mean you have a river here that is glowing.

I make sure I'm careful for booby traps since what I don't need is to be stuck here forever. Which way to go? Which way?

Closing my eyes, I take a moment till I feel this pull and go one way then another. When I get to this chest, I look at it to read "Take what you need but not from greed" frowning confused "what does that mean?"

Opening the chest my eyes widen seeing all of this treasure and gold...no. Shaking my head no, closing the chest "I did not come all this way for this" looking around, I look for a book. I would need a book.

When I get to a hallway I go through ignoring the treasure, I go through until I come upon a room where I see a woman there. She is sitting on a throne, looking around I go in trying to avoid booby traps.

This woman breathes out in a dry croaky voice that makes my skin crawl, as she looks at me I see her feature are like that of a Targaryen with white hair and purple eyes but this woman's skin has wrinkled so much "I was wondering" the woman breathes out "when I'd see you child"

"Why would we be meeting?" I ask

She lets out a laugh "I've waited thousands of years for you" that isn't creepy at all (note the sarcasm) "such power inside of you...power that hasn't been seen in a very long time"

"Who are you?" I ask

She laughs looking away then to me "it's been such a long time that I've forgotten my own name" that is kind of sad to hear "the long night is coming once more, only through you and your mate shall you be able to be able to overcome the challenges you'll face"

"My mate?" I ask

"While it is your cousin's destiny to defeat the evil" she says "it is your destiny to bring the species together to live in harmony and free your northerners" waving to a table "bring me my book"

Because I am helping an old lady, I go over and look but realize I don't know so I ask "Which" my words are cut off when everything becomes dark.

Gasping awake, I see I'm on my boat that I rented. Looking to the side there's a few different chests and I open each to see one filled with the finest silk ever, another is filled with books and the last jewels and gold. I notice behind them a silver trident, unlike the one Zac found this one is like I said silver but with five pointy ends. This is also made with a metal that I've noticed before but can't remember from where.

I see a note and read it.

For the northern mermaid

This is so weird. I mean how I am I supposed to get all of this back to—wait! I can shrink this stuff. Dumb me. Though who was that woman? And is that a mermaid? The same mermaid that I'm told to run away from. Going to the steering wheel, I drive the boat far far away from her.
