𝐎𝐫𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨,𝐅𝐋"I'm good Gio." She smiled as she repeated herself for the thousand times since their call started.
Today was Maetta's death anniversary and he wanted to make sure she would be good, even though she said she was fine, he just knew her character and knew that she would never tell someone that she was hurting.
"I'm just making sure ma." He looked down at the camera that was placed on his lap as he was driving. "Because you know I'm here for you even if you don't wanna talk to me."
She smiled at his word, taking her brush off the canvas to dip it in the paint. "I know, you keep reminding me"
"And if anything, you would be the first person I would run to if I wasn't okay." She made it clear to him so he could finally stop worrying about her.
He smiled running his tongue over his lips. "Is that a promise?"
"Yeah it's a promise" She smiled even harder.
"Alright, imma believe you for now"
"lemme come see you." He places his eyes back in front of him as he suddenly stopped and put his car in park.
He picked his phone off his lap and smile into the camera noticing she was paying more attention to him than her painting. "Step outside."
With them two words Brooklyn stood up from her chair and grabbed her phone with a quickness.
"I'll be back Ms. Blue" She yelled out to her teacher as she slipped her apron over her head and hung it on the hook near the door.
Exiting the building, she looked around before spotting his car in the parking lot. Quickly she rushed over and hopped in, welcomed by the smell of Chipotle that filled the car.
He placed the bag of food on her lap. "Hurry up and eat ma, I gotta head back to work in a minute."
She shook her head quickly digging through the bag, pulling out her bowl and chips out the large brown bag. "Why we rushing?" she questions
"Cause I actually have to work today" He reached over and pulled a piece of hair off her cheek.
"I gotta meet with a potential client, she wants a custom wrap on her car." He watched as she nods her head and stuffed the chip in her mouth. "It shouldn't take long to convince her."
"So you just came to see me?" Finally, she asked as she just finished chewing her food down.
"Yeah, I was supposed to come back to you last night but I got caught up." He reminded her. "So I'm apologizing for that."
