(I keep forgetting I had to edit this one-I did now so yeah)

It took about three hours for the Nya and Kai to realize the vehicle had parked at the shop for the last 6 hours. Nya woke up first to the loud knocking outside the window.

Startling her awake, Nya sleepily looked out to see her mother knocking on the window. Enthusiastically waving at her, Nya waved back weakly while opening the door.

"Oh my dears!" Maya squealed, going to hug Nya. The girls had a quick embrace before Nya pulled away. It wasn't hard to not notice Nya's indifferent behavior towards Maya. Seeing that Nya grew up without her but Maya still tried to have that bond with her.

Kai was still dead asleep in the car while Ray had gone to meet with Nya. Helping with the extra bags and waking the grumpy brunette from his beauty sleep. The family had made it back to the shop and were setting up the dinner table.

"Here I made some soup tonight." Maya said, platting two steaming hot bowls in front of the siblings. Kai yawned out a small thank you and tiredly ate the soup, Nya doing the same, Ray came back downstairs from putting away their bags in each respective room.

"Your trip must have been very long huh? Did you come back from the monastery?" Ray asked, taking a spot in front of Kai and sitting down. Kai shook his head.

"Nah we came straight from the bounty, Master Wu kinda just sprang this whole vacation thing on us." He answered, taking another sip from the spoon.

"Yeah, said he had some other stuff he needed to do so we all get vacation time." Nya added. Ray, fatherly nodded.

"Oh! I'm so glad you both decided to visit us!" Maya happily continued. "Did you both make any plans?" She asked.

Kai shrugged. "I haven't made any plans other than to visit you guys." He answered.

"I've made a couple plans with Jay." Nya said, avoiding eye contact, Maya and Ray have been attempting to parent Nya on her relationships with the birds and bees talk. So far the only dent they made was the birds and bees talk.

"How has Jay been?" Maya curiously asked, the table seemed to have tensed and this looked like girl territory to Ray but Kai has shared his own fair amount of girl talk from their childhood and decided to ignore the conversation happening.

"Jay's been good.." Nya vaguely said, stirring the spoon in her soup. Looking up to meet Maya's curious eyes. Nya shrugged.

"How's uh, how's life been since we last saw you?" Nya awkwardly asked to change the subject. Ray cleared his throat.

"Fixing up the old shop, getting back in touch with the locals, all that stuff." Their father responded fatherly.

"Yes and village has told us some interesting stories about you two." Maya added. Both Nya and Kai froze, a quick glance at each other then back to their parents smirking faces.

"We have a lot to do tomorrow so you both should go to bed after your soup." Raymond said fatherly, both knew it was probably gonna be some redemption arc for their stupid actions as kids.

The siblings soon went to bed that felt like a bad nap when their mother woke them up that morning.

"Come downstairs for breakfast! I made those Omelets you liked so much when you were younger Kai!" She enthusiastically yelled into the hall where the siblings' rooms were. Groaning loudly Kai threw his covers over his head.

His head pounding loudly, Kai tiredly got up, Sitting on his bed the brunette dragged his hand through his hair. Kai had decided not to drink as much yesterday night, hoping that would prevent the headaches.
