The living room was tense with all the ninjas waiting for the other to speak, Master Wu merely sipped his tea. Kai sat there, seething, his glare piercing into Lloyds unsure face. It had been what he was thinking, an intervention.

There was no need for one, after all, this was something Kai could get off any time he wanted.

"Listen, I know you're angry about this Kai, but please stay calm." Sensei Wu asked, seeing through the hotheads' thoughts. Kai growled.

"Why should I! I have vengestone cuffs from who knows where and you're all just going to sit there pretending that this is ok!" Kai yelled, waving his arms like a maniac, revealing the cold vengestone cuffs like a prize.

"Kai." The old man stressed, the boy merely scoffed, pushing himself further into the couch. Lloyd silently thanked his uncle as he prepared for what he had to do.

"Um, Kai I want you to be honest with us, how long have you been using, um you know the stuff." The blonde boy asked nervously, unsure of what Kai's answer might be.

"What stuff?" Everyone looked at him in shock, they had all thought Kai wouldn't lie straight to their faces like that.

"Kai don't lie." Jay said, looking at him with a glare.

"I'm not lying! I get the alcohol stuff but what other stuff?" Kai asked even more confused than before, his gaze shifted to meet Nya's gaze, for second he thought Nya had told them.

'No, She couldn't have..could she?' Kai thought, that same anger boiling in him, no, he had to remain confused. He'll talk to her later about it and he will make sure that she keeps her lips shut.

Bringing his gaze back to Lloyd once again, he saw the boy's unspoken fear for a moment.

"So, you didn't do anything other than drink." Cole stated sending Kai the same expression, he didn't like to see Kai frustrated or in cuffs. It hurt Cole to see his crush in pain, it stabbed his chest.

Cole bit down the feeling of pity for him, Kai had betrayed the team's trust therefore they had no reason to treat him with mercy anymore.

"No, I didn't." Kai lied, he wasn't going to let them find his sources anytime soon, not since the night before, when Scott gave him Tulip, when Kai felt at peace and warm.

Nya didn't believe that, she whispered something to Lloyd, who reacted in shock. Looking from Kai's gaze and back to her he nodded slowly.

"..Kai, we uh, can't trust that." The boy said slowly, biting his lip. Now that made Kai angrier.

"What do you mean you can't trust that!" Kai yelled, standing up, his body tried to use the elemental fire but was blocked by the vengestone cuffs. Kai let out a frustrated groan and uselessly tried to claw the cuff off.

"Calm down, we're not saying we don't trust you, we just can't trust you with this." Cole explained, trying to get the hothead to calm down. Kai only glared at him.

"As I was trying to say, because we can't trust you on that..we decided it'd be best if we admitted you into a rehab?" Lloyd nervously spoke, looking to see the Kai's glare go straight to offended.

"Rehab?" Kai spat, like the choice was so repulsive to him.

"Why would I need Rehab?" Kai demanded, his body began to tremble, the effects of the vengestone repelling his every urge.

"We just want you to get better Kai-"Lloyd started, his eyes flickering to Master Wu. "And we can't let you keep putting yourself and others in harm."

"Harm? I haven't harmed anyone!" Kai argued, his face turning into a shade of red. Lloyd couldn't believe that Kai didn't see what he had done to his father.
