"Well hello you two," Kelia happily greeted. "We have meatballs tonight!"

Natsu wandered into the kitchen, returning with both the necessary items for setting the table and a cheese stick dangling from his mouth. Aina noticed Kelia's stares on her, and she tried to look unphased.

"So," her mother started, "how was school today?"

"Oh, uh, good. There was a little fight at lunch between two tech guys."

"Yeah and it was boring as hell," Natsu commented once he got close enough to hear the conversation. "It doesn't even count as a fight."

Kelia looked between them again and hummed before returning to the kitchen.

"Aina, do you mind helping me in the kitchen for a sec?"

Her daughter quietly entered the kitchen and grabbed the oven mits.

"So, did you get any homework done?"

"Yeah. I got Natsu to do some calc, but it was like hitting a wall after that."

Kelia gave a small 'uh huh' before giving her a knowing look. Aina caught the glint in her eye, prompting a deep scarlet to dust her cheeks.

Aina shifted on her bed so she was laying on her stomach and raised the phone so she could show her face to Lucy on their video call.

"You gotta help me, A."

"What happened?"

Lucy looked off to the side and back to her friend before whispering, "My dad wants me to speak at his meeting again."

"Why are you whispering?" Aina laughed.

"Because I already told him no and he got mad at me."

Aina laughed quietly and offered that Lucy could come over to her house, and she received a huge 'thank you!' in return.

"So," Lucy started, and Aina could hear the change in tone to one of a mischievous nature, "how was today after school?"

"Fine?" Aina answered, not really understanding what was so special.

That is, until Lucy revealed her next statement: "Oh come on, A. You totally slept together again."

"Lucy," she hissed, frantically turning her volume down.

"I knew it!"

Aina rolled her eyes and gave her friend the middle finger before changing the subject.

"Oh no you don't," Lucy quickly denied. "You're telling me."

"Why do you insist on knowing these things?"

"Because nothing interesting ever happens to the three of us, and this is mildly entertaining."

"I mean, it wasn't, like, totally sex? I dunno."

"What does that...ohh. Interesting. So who did what?"

"I mean," Aina trailed off, embarrassment clouding her senses, "I didn't really do anything."

"Woah, really? I didn't think he did that kinda stuff."

"What do you mean, Lu?"

"Well it's just that I always thought that he was more of a 'personal pleasure exclusive' kinda guy. Never even crossed my mind that he was anything else."

"O-oh."

If possible, her face would've melted in that moment, especially when Lucy would not stop teasing her. This went on until they heard a shout in the distance, and Lucy groaned before saying her goodbyes to her friend.
