"Why are you so motivated today?"

"Because I wanna get this done so I don't ever have to do it again."

Aina and Natsu worked diligently on the finishing touches of the diorama. After about twenty minutes, they had finished and moved onto the presentation portion. Aina stretched on Natsu's floor and exhaled.

"We just have to explain them. It shouldn't be hard at all."

"Should we label it?"

"I think everyone will know what's going on."

"I'll get the note cards ready."

"Why can't I do that?" Natsu asked, offended.

"Because your handwriting sucks," Aina playfully threw back.

They had come up with a brief outline of the presentation and smiled when they were almost finished. An hour went by and they had finished. They both grinned wide at each other and looked over the diorama one more time to make sure it looked finished.

"We did it! I can't believe we actually finished!"

"You seem shocked."

"Are you kidding me? I was able to finish a project and I had you as a partner. It's very shocking."

Natsu huffed and stood up to get them some drinks.

"So now what do we do?"

"We don't have to meet anymore," Aina explained. "But we should probably meet the week that it's due to get everything together and to practice our presentation."

"Uh, right," Natsu softly said. "Well I guess this is it for now."

"Yep! Isn't that great?"

"Yeah," he spoke as he looked down to the floor, "it's really great."

"Okay, well I'm gonna get going then. I'll see you in school!"

The front door to Natsu's apartment softly shut and he heard footsteps walking down the hall. He started to walk towards the door to catch up to her, but he stopped himself and stood by it for a few minutes.

"What the hell is wrong with me lately?"

He shook it off and flopped on his chair before turning on the TV. He tried to watch the show, but he couldn't seem to focus. He ended up sitting in front of the TV with a blank look as he started getting lost in his head. He huffed and opened his phone before sending a quick text to Gajeel and grabbing his shoes before starting his walk across town.

"It's probably nothing."

"Well hello to you too, honey. What made you so happy?" Kelia asked with a wide smile.

"We finished our project! Isn't that great? I never thought that this day would come."

Her mom laughed and led her to the kitchen. Aina started to boil the potatoes as he mom worked on the chicken.

"So where is your partner?"

"What do you mean? He's at his apartment."

"Did he not want to come over for dinner tonight?"

"No he was busy," Aina dismissed. "The chicken smells really good, mom."

"Dude, what's wrong with you?"

Natsu snapped out of his daze and looked at Gajeel questioningly.
