It was Thursday, and Aina had just realized that she didn't have any way to contact Natsu outside of class.

"You gotta ask him, Aina. You won't get anything done if you don't."

"I can always email him on his school email and--"

She was cut off by a look from Lucy.

"Yeah, I know. It was worth a shot though," Aina muttered.

"Go get it over with."

"But he's with all those people. I'll wait until class."

Mister Justine's English class had started, and he said that he would give everyone the last ten minutes of class to work on the plans. Natsu had been a no show again, and Aina rolled her eyes.

"Mister Justine, Natsu isn't--"

Natsu strolled into the classroom and yet again had arrived with fifteen minutes left. He gave a smug look to the teacher before noticing that everyone was with their partners. He made his way over to Aina's desk and sat in front of her.

"So, uh...what's your name again?"

"You've got to be kidding me. My name is Aina! We've been in the same English class for three years."

"Right, right. Anyway, what're you doing about the project?"

"We still need to choose a book."

"Do that murder book or whatever. We can totally recreate the murder scene."

"We didn't read a...are you seriously talking about Lord of the Flies like it's a murder mystery?"

Natsu shrugged and smirked before saying, "That's what I got out of the discussions."

"That's completely wrong."

"Whatever, sweetheart. Just pick a book."

"Stop calling me that," Aina scolded before she remembered something and shyly stated, "I also kinda need your number."

Natsu laughed loudly and teased, "Aw are you gonna ask me out next?"

"It's not like that! I need it so we can communicate for the project. I assume you don't read your emails."

"I don't even know my password for my email."

"You're unbelievable."

Natsu winked and gave her his phone to put in the contact information. Aina handed him her phone as well.

"Who's that?"

"What?"

Natsu held up her phone and showed that he had exited out of the contact setting and was pointing to her screensaver. Aina snatched the phone away from him and went to yell at him.

"Boyfriend?"

"No. He's my friend."

"You sure?" Natsu raised his eyebrow. "You seem a little too close to be friends--"

"I've known him since we were five, now drop it."

"Whatever, sweetheart."

"Where is he?" Aina mumbled as she tapped her foot on the ground.

"Yo."

Aina jumped at the sudden voice behind her.

"You're late."

"Yeah, yeah. You should get used to it. I'm always late."

"You do realize that this project is twenty percent of our grade, right?"
