Aina had rolled out of bed around noontime and lazily trudged over to the bathroom to shower. She sighed in content as she let the water drip from the shower head, taking in the warmth and the sound that the water made when it hit the surrounding space. She closed her eyes and relaxed her shoulders, rinsing the shampoo out of her brown hair. The shower was over much too soon for her liking. She grumbled as she turned off the water and reluctantly stepped out into the cooler air of the bathroom. She put on a clean oversized T-shirt with some sweatpants as she waited for herself to dry more before putting on her actual clothes because, to her, trying to get a bra on right after getting out of the shower was much too annoying to start off the day. After patting her hair with a towel, Aina decided to go downstairs. She heard a pot clang, so she assumed her mom was in the kitchen.

"Oh there you are! I hope you slept well. You seemed tired so I didn't want to wake you."

Aina smiled and thanked her mom before asking what she was doing.

"Just doing a little bit of kitchen cleaning! Now if only the pans would cooperate instead of making a loud ruckus."

The brunette giggled and helped her mom shove the pans into the cabinet before quickly slamming it shut so they wouldn't fall out. They both gave each other a victorious smile and went their separate ways, Kelia going to clean the bathroom and Aina returning to her room to get ready. Her phone dinged and a message from Lucy popped up.

Is 3 a good time?

Yeah I'm just waiting for my hair to dry.

Great! Levy said she'd be here around 3:30.

Aina sent a thumbs up before she jumped on her bed and started scrolling through her phone.

"Interior crocodile alligator..."

She groaned and cursed the audio as she once again tried to get the song out of her head. She kept scrolling and decided to stop before she got any more stuck in her head, turning to her notes app to write down some lines she had thought of while in the shower. Natsu's name popped up on her screen, and she (a little too) quickly tapped on it to view the message.

How's the neck?

Not too bad.

Purple?

Very.

Good.

Aina rolled her eyes, but a smile was present on her face. She rolled over, her hair fanning all over the bed. She looked at the clock and saw that it was 2:30, so she slid off the bed and walked over to her closet. There was a small scoff when she opened the weather app.

"How is it 50(F) today and 80(F) yesterday?"

She sifted through the clothes and eventually picked out a pair of ripped jeans with an oversized teal and white striped sweater. She slipped on her brown boots and took down her hair. After running her fingers through her hair, she placed it back on her right side, making sure to cover the hickey.

"Bye mom!"

Kelia echoed her words and waved her daughter off. The drive was pretty quiet except for the soft music that was playing. Aina smiled once she saw Lucy's house and quickly pulled in the driveway. It wasn't even ten seconds before Lucy whipped open the door and sprinted to Aina's car.

"Well hello to you too, Lucy."

"It's been so long since we've hung out."

"Lucy, you were just over my house."

"But still!"

Aina laughed at her friend and followed her inside. They immediately went up to Lucy's room and jumped on her bed. They giggled at each other before both rolling on their backs to look at the ceiling.
