Around a week later, Kyle was still in deep depression. Except it got worse. Kyle ate around one meal a day. Janna found out about the cuts and made Kyle get therapy. The therapists then took him to see a doctor about his eating habits. They then made him take 6 pills 3 times a day. Kyle now went to the therapist every other day as Janna insisted. Kyle set a date. The date when he would finally be free from this hell which is his mind. "it was the cat" excuse now didn't work either. Kyle had changed. Having Dan gone made Kyle go the complete opposite to what he used to be. Happy now sad. Living, now surviving on the edge. Clear skin, now blood being shed every hour and every bit of clear skin being kissed by a blade. The sad thoughts feeding on the happy ones. The voices were in control. The other two came round every day to help organise the funeral.
"Kyle, come on.. you need to get up and come down stairs to see the others, it will cheer you up I'm sure of it." Janna said softly.
"No I'm fine just leave me alone." Kyle said angrily and pushed Janna away.
"Look, Kyle We're just trying to help you honey,"
"Well it's not working! So just GO AWAY!" Kyle said harshly.
"Have you taken your pills this morning?"
"..."
"KYLE! You need to take them ok?" Janna got up and picked up the bottles filled with Kyle's medication. "Now take these, and then come down stairs ok?" Kyle nodded.
Janna then walked out with a tear rolling down her cheek and went down to greet Will and Woody.
"Look Janna, don't worry he will get over this I'm sure." Woody reassured Janna.
"He's not who he used to be. I have a feeling we will never get the old Kyle back." Janna sobbed. Woody nodded and hugged her.
A few hours later, Kyle still hadn't come downstairs and the other three had officially arranged the funeral, which was going to happen in a few days. Tomorrow Dan's body was going to be taken away. Woody went upstairs to tell Kyle. He gently knocked on the door.
"Hey Kyle, it's Woody. Can I come in?"
"...mmm fine." Kyle replied grumpily.
Woody opened the door to see Kyle in a terrible state. Kyle's eyes tear stained, sore, with dark bags. Arms bleeding out like the way Kyle feels inside. His whole body twitching every second. His skin grew paler than before. Kyle's thin,  boney body lying on the bed, sitting up against the soft pillows. Woody made eye contact with Kyle's bloodshot eyes. "....Kyle, hey, I know it's not easy-" Woody sat on the side and comforted Kyle.
"Look, that's literally all I have been hearing for the past week or so. Just leave me alone. Dan's dead. I know...He's g-...gone." Kyle said bitterly.
"I know, I'm sorry about that Kyle. But I need to tell you something okay so please just bare with me for a few more minutes, okay?" Woody said softly. Kyle nodded. Woody took a deep breath "...Well ..Dan is going to be taken away tomorrow."
"N-no..NO HE..HE CAN'T BE T-TAKEN AWAY FROM ME!" Kyle panicked, Woody had to hold him back down.
"Look, I know it's hard hitting and sudden, but it has to done. I mean have you seen him?! His body is decaying rapidly, there are insects crawling inside of him eating away, his skin has sunken in to his bones, his pale skin is now turning a light purple, and it will only get worse, Kyle. I find it hard to see him like this as well and I think it would be best to leave a happy, cheerful Dan in our minds, not a slowly decaying one, which is scarring."
Kyle went silent. Kyle started crying then leapt out and ran outside to see Dan. "I think I went a bit too far." Woody said to himself, whilst worrying about Kyle's physical and emotional state. How much he's changed. He looks nearly as dead as Dan.

Kyle trembled down the stairs, crying and moaning. The others got up from the sofas and went after Kyle. Kyle hadn't been outside to see Dan's body for a while, so seeing Dan like this gave Kyle shots of pain deep in his soul. Kyle went down on his knees by the body. It was just how Woody described, his skin, tinted bluey-purple, dark eyes, his cheeks completely sunken in, just showing the sharp edges of Dan's bone structure. The skin on his eyelids were so thin now you could see through to his eyes. You could see the shape of his teeth cutting through his skin. His eyes had also sunken in. Those beautiful, calm blue eyes. Gone. No twinkles, nothing. Just misty, desolated balls of human flesh. His once beautiful, soft hair had now gone brittle. The flower crown the others made for him now dead. His whole body now a literal skeleton in clothes, with the knife still in his chest, but the knife had sunken in more, as his organs were rotting and the insects were feasting away at him like he's some sort of banquet. As Kyle Kyle glanced at Dan's body he saw all the insects coming out of every opening part on his body, the hole where the knife is, his nose, mouth, ears and one or two in the eyes, crawling through Dan's little forests of dark lashes.
Kyle weeped at the sight. The others came rushing over and comforted him.
"HE ...H-YOU CANT TAKE HIM AWAY F-FROM ME" Kyle screamed and cried onto Dan's empty, soulless  body. "YOU JUST CAN'T!"
"Look, we can't do anything about this Kyle, we should have done this straight after he died, not two weeks later." Janna said calmly, trying to hold her tears back "Come on Kyle, let's go back inside eh?" Janna helped Kyle get back on his feet and they all walked inside. Kyle's soul feeling like Dan's; rotting away into oblivion.
