Since we were kids
We made a promise
That we stick together forever
Until death separates us
Friends in the past
A developing relationship in the present
Both of us fell in love
Never thought we could take a step forward
Love as a couple
Yet act as idiotic friends
Laughing and smiling
Even though we are no longer friends
You were the best thing in my life
For I will cherish you
And that will be a promise
To keep as my vows of love
