Deep inside me
Hides a raging beast
For me to keep it at bay
To forgive others heartfully
Anger is a monster
Takes me so long to tame it
It's like we're wrestling for control
The hardest fight I had to face
Raging to be released
To shout out my anger
But I had mercy
Giving them a chance is what I can do
Oh monstrous beast inside
End your crave for vengeance
So I don't need to struggle
To face the people who provoke us
