They charged out in sync, stepping the same foot at the same time. They didn't have weapons, as they were trained without them, but both the siblings grabbed slabs of wood, shaped the same way as the old masters staff.
As Acronix took a leap at the old master, he could see out of the corner of his eye two figures charging, Wu sensed the same thing.
The two siblings jumped at the old master and together pulled him by the ankles, causing him to fall hard onto the court yard below.
Acronix didn't even know it happened until his dagger came down on nothingness. He looked up to see who had just taken the fight only for there to be no one beside him, rather below him.
"What?" The old master mumbled as he stood to regain his balance. He re-readied himself only to find not Acronix, but two new adversaries.
Both holding a thin piece of wood, one was taller and had a fire insignia, while the other was shorter and had a water insignia.
At first he thought it was impossible that we was seeing two old element masters, two that were once friends to him, but when he looked closer he regained his hatred.
They both bore the Time element insignia on there hoods, and they both were definitely worthy opponents.
"Whoever you are, you do not belong in this fight." He said clenching his staff tighter.
The siblings said nothing, rather, taking off in perfect synchrony around and to the side of the old master.
Kai and Nya knew that the old master was smart, and knew that if they charged at the same time he would jump out of the way causing them to crash into each other, something they practiced way to much.
And as they both started to charge they used there training. Nya quickly slid to a stop while Kai continued, jumping above the master.
As suspected, he thought they would both run at him and jumped to be out of the way, only to be hit to the ground by the taller one, and hit to a neighbouring wall by the shorter one.
Acronix didn't know what to think. One moment he was facing his greatest enemy, and the next two new people come out of nowhere and start beating the crap out of an enemy he could barely touch.
He gave a single chuckle as Wu was hit to the wall off to his left. At this he jumped off and walked over to the two, assumed, allies.
He could now tell his obvious time insignia on there hoods and realized his brother must have done something to help him.
"Who are you two?" He asked looking them. They simply gave a nod before Wu hit them both into the far right wall.
Acronix quickly went to run at wu when he noticed the two fighters were standing, already ready to attack back.
Wu was also surprised but didn't spend time waiting.
Acronix watched as his old master charged at his two allies only for them to jump out of the way in perfect sync, one to stand off to the left while the other to the right.
Acronix quickly moved behind the master so he had no escape.
"Looks like your surrounded Wu, you might as well give up." Acronix hissed slowly starting to move into the old man.
Kai and Nya knew what was going to happen by the way the master placed his foot, but as experience suggests, they were to late to grab him as he did a backflip over the time sibling, using his staff to shoot him forward.
This fast movement cause the sibling not to release that Acronix was now flying towards them.
All three bared barrelled into the wall, and subsequently through it.
Wu managed to get there quickly before all three plummeted off the cliff, grabbing Acronix by the cape and the sibling by the back of the uniforms.
"I do not know what affiliation you have with Acronix, Do you yield?" Speaking to all three.
Kai and Nya looked at the Time brother in the middle of them. "Never." he hissed.
This agitated the old master "There's no escape this time, Acronix." He slightly dropping the three before re-catching them. Kai and Nya made sure to keep there mouth shut but Acronix let out a squeal.
"Do. You. Yield?" He asked again. Acronix, reluctantly, spoke. "I...yield."
Nya could tell Acronix would attack the moment he could and Kai was ready along side him. Wu started to pull the three back up before speaking.
"So forty years after it began, the battle of the Elemental Masters versus the Hands of Time finally ended." He started slightly stoping to pull out his pocket watch again, "At precisely 6 p.m."
As he said this, the crack in the sky began to form again. The sibling watched as the spirals started again, and again a single lighting shot down; though this time in green.
The next thing they knew all three of the time allies were stood across from master Wu in the middle of the court yard, with a new blade like thing laying in front of them.
Aconix acted faster then the sibling, shoving Wu away to grab this blade. Kai and Nya quickly moved to distance themselves but kept there eyes on both now.
Acronix quickly grabbed the old masters pocket watch. " And at 6:01, the battle began again." He said charging.
Wu managed to block the attack and Acronix again went in for another blow. Neither him nor Wu shot a glance at the sibling. Nya on the other hand quickly ran to her brother side, sliding to a stop on his left.
"What do we do now?" She asked him. Kai had one foot back and both hands up in fists. "I say we go back in and finish off the old guy."
Nya placed a hand on his chest as Acronix felt another blow.
"You had your chance old man." He said. "You should have let me drop." He lifted his glowing blade which sounded like crackling lighting but in a green colour.
"Now, let's see if your experience is more powerful than..." The blade shot a large blast of green into the atmosphere. "The Time Blade."
Kai backed off of Nya's hand. "Your right, whatever that thing does, I do not want to get hit by it." He said taking a step back.
"Then let's be a distraction." Nya said, smiling under her mask.
