(M)Scary movie

*yes I changed the order of the chapters and made this a Michael imagine so that the chapters spell out CALM lol*

Lucy:

I had decided tonight would to be the night I got over my fear of watching horror movies and watch one. So, tonight, Michael and I watched one, despite his repeated efforts to try and tell me it wasn't a good idea, seeing as I couldn't even handle the trailer, but my curiosity got the best of me so I chose to ignore his warnings. The movie had me at the edge of my seat the whole time. I probably shouldn't have asked my horror movie enthusiast friend to suggest the scariest one she could think of. There was no way in hell I was sleeping tonight.

After the movie, the two of us headed up to our room and got ready to sleep.

"You gonna be okay sleeping after watching that?" he asked from the doorframe of the bathroom as I took off my make up and brushed my teeth.

"Y-yeah. I'm fine," I lied, too stubborn to show any fear at all.

"You sure? You hesitated..."

"Yeah. Fine. Everything's perfect," I spoke, plastering on a fake smile.

"You know, it's okay to be scared. That movie scared me too and I've seen it like three times already."

"Michael... I'm fine, I promise."

"Okay then, night," he spoke about to turn out the lights, as we were both already in bed.

"Wait. Just leave the lights on tonight."

"But you can't sleep with the lights on..."

"Well maybe tonight I wanna get over that issue too tonight."

"You sure about that?"

"Yes Michael, goodnight," I huffed in annoyance, face planting into the pillow.

He let out a sigh before joining me under the covers.

"Night."

I lay there in bed, wide awake, too scared to go to sleep now.

"Are you sure you're fine?" He asked, well aware if the fact that I was still up.

"Yep," I replied back with full confidence. I was determined to at least make it seem as though I wasn't scared even though I was terrified.

"Okay, if you say so," he replied, not buying it for a second.

He put an arm around me, knowing I was too stubborn to admit I was scared and I soon fell asleep feeling safe in his arms.
