The female enters into the building, briefly saying hello to some of her colleagues and while making her way to the studio she and other people worked at. Mainly she would illustrate pages at home but durning mornings she and other artists would reunite to review their work.
While the girl was anxiously waiting for her supervisor to come and approve her illustrious, she started to chat with some of her coworkers and friends.
—"So how's your part going, Victoria?"—
—"I want to die, that's all I can say."—
That's Victoria Casanova, a short 24 y/o girl with dark-brown and long messy hair, emerald green eyes and toned skin with freckles. She's quite a character, always grumpy and hating on the world but has her charm and can genuinely show concern... In her own way.
—"And the fuck is Sasha at? He said she'd be around in no time."— she groans annoyed.
—"He stopped again to get some of these lemon muffins, didn't he?"—
—"Yup. Why does he even like those? They're so sour..."—
—"I like them cuz they have a strong taste."—
A sudden soft male voice and large shadow made both girls jump on their seat.
—"God damn it Sasha! Don't materialize like this ever again!"— Victoria yells angrily at him.
—"Sorry."—
And that guys is Alexander Tkach, or Sasha like he likes to be referred as. He's a really, really tall 25 y/o albino guy with shoulder length nearly white hair, gray eyes and pale skin. He's a bit weird and unnerving at first, but in reality he's the sweetest and most wholesome person (Y/N) met in her entire life, basically a sweetie pie.
—"Did I miss something?"— he tilts his head a bit and glances at you.
—"Just Victoria hating on your muffin preferences."— you chuckle a bit.
—"Yes, and I'll keep hating on it now. Mixing sour and sweet should be a crime, can't people just eat muffins and lemons separately?!"— Victoria angrily retaliates.
—"I like lemons too."— Sasha casually says whilst stepping closer to you, a paper bag in his hand. —"And I know you like this, (Y/N)."—
Before the girl could reply, he carefully gives her a paper bag which confused her. Her confusion was soon replaced with surprise when she looked inside and was greeted with a box with a whole red velvet cake in it.
—"Oh m-my, Sasha you really didn't had to!"—
—"But I wanted to, today is a special day for you after all."— he softly smiles at you and ruffs your hair in a affectionate manner.
—"You buy a cake to her but not me? We knew each other from kindergarten, you know that Sasha."— Victoria huffs, but she clearly was just joking since she also takes off a plastic bag from her backpack. —"And how dare you give her a gift before me?"—
—"V-Victoria?! You too?!"—
—"Of corse me too, it's your father's birthday after all. I know it's hard enough to celebrate it alone so... Me and Sasha though that maybe giving you some gifts would make you feel less lonely, and don't spend too much money."— she says as she gives you the bag, her tone carrying genuine empathy.
(Y/N) nearly wanted to cry, anything related to her father is a really delicate and important topic to her and seeing how caring and thoughtful her friends are about it made her heart melt.
