The dinner went smooth. Well, it's kinda hard to fuck it up when the only ones dining are a person and a cat.

After eating (Y/N) definitely had zero regrets of going out and buying food in that place, that kebab was goddamn delicious! Sasha was right, it is worth every single penny and time.

And while doing her night routine, the female suddenly stopped mid action of whatever she was doing as she realized something.

She wasn't feeling nearly as tired as the nights before!

This obviously confused her. Just yesterday she was dying of sleepiness and exhaustion right after eating, but now? Now she still having quite of energy left, even Sunny seems more active.

Suddenly she stops her activity at all and rushes at the kitchen, to then open the fringe and frantically begin to inspect the food.

At first everything appears normal, she bought these products just a day or two ago after all! She sniffs one of them... Nothing odd neither, until a very faint smell of... Something kicked in.

(Y/N) watches the product carefully, which was a bag of cooking cream, trying to figure out if something is actually wrong or her terrible sense of smell is messing with her.

Guess she'll have to ask an expert.

—"Ps-ps-ps."—

And after making the magic sounds, the fluff ball named Sunny came into the kitchen, watching his owner curiously.

—"Sunny, does it smell weird?"— you ask as you carefully hold the opened bag closer to him.

The cat approaches and sniffs the cream, everything was fine until the animal suddenly gagged and scrunched his nose at the product, clearly displeased with the smell.

That was all it took (Y/N) to know that yes, indeed something is wrong with the food. She began to sort the food, sniffing it and throwing in the trashcan whatever had that odd weak stench, which resulted to be almost everything in the fridge!

And while she was doing that, the girl wouldn't stop thinking about what could've possibly caused the food to turn bad... It had to turn bad, right? If not Sunny wouldn't react so dramatically.

Are the stores cheapening the products? If so that's terrible because god knows where she could find another one to buy groceries with good prices or not too far away from home.

Maybe she spoke too soon, maybe things aren't going back on track...

. . .

After all the activities were done (Y/N) had the chance to lay on her couch and watch some TV, though even while watching one of her favorite shows she just couldn't put a stop the swarm of thoughts and wonders. What type of connection the food has with her sudden lack of energy, and when did it even start?...

Her eyes narrowed when she remembered the cupcakes Carrie left in front of her door last week. But it couldn't be her who initiated all of this, right? She's a close friend! Of course she wouldn't do anything like that! Unless... The treat wasn't from her. But... But the little note had her exact handwriting!... Or did it?...

The sudden noise of statics startled (Y/N), making her focus on the TV. Luckily, there was no girl in white and black hair crawling out of it, meaning that most likely it's the antena of the building malfunctioning, again.

—"{I swear if it's another pigeon...}"— you mumble as you sit up.

The girl looks for the remote to turn off the annoying sound, finding it right next to her on the couch.
