Jed leans back on his chair, his arms crossed as he starts to talk.
—"Freddy Krueger, a dream entity who was a big legend, the boogeyman of Springwood. Supposedly, he was only able to get you in that town if you knew about his existence. But as you can tell... Well, something happened, and his powers are no longer limited to Springwood only. You still need to know about him to get attacked though, that's why the news no longer talk about him and instead cover up his crimes as accidents or self harm cases."—
—"But how the authorities know-"—
—"The Springwood police had contacted every single station and shared said information, yet not everyone knows directly about him, only very special people."— he explains before throwing you an amused glance. —"And I know what your about to ask, 'how are you still alive Jed'? Well..."—
The dark haired man then reaches for something in his pocket and places it on the table between him and (Y/N).
The item wasn't anything fancy, just a small container of pills, with a stamp that said...
—"Hypnocil."— he says, his eyes locked with yours.
(Y/N)'s eyes narrowed at the sight of the pills. These... These are...
—"...And you better don't take any of that fucking hypnocil the slut-boy sneaks into your food."—
Freddy's voice rumbled in her mind, puzzle pieces clicking once again as her gaze became more wary, detail that Jed of course noticed.
—"I know, the medicine is indeed pretty cool, but it's not hard to get. It's actually as easy as to buy a regular Ibuprofen."— he chuckled at the last part. —"Well, I said my part. Now, it's your turn (Y/N)."— he reminds you as he puts both arms on the table and leans forward a bit.
The female blinks. Oh- Right, her encounter with Krueger and Ghostface.
Now knowing that she's not at risk to be seen as insane, she tells all she can remember about the last night. From how the nightmare started, her fight with the dream demon and how it all ended, though she skipped all the little talks about her 'stalkers', for now. As she's talking, Jed carefully listened to her very attentively, his nearly black eyes glued to (Y/N)'s form. She probably didn't notice but his gaze had soon turned way darker and irritated.
—"And... That's pretty much it. The last thing he told me is that he will come back."— you finish.
Jed remains unresponsive for a couple of seconds, his hands tightly clasped together and his gaze lowered, expression blank, scarily blank. As (Y/N) is about to ask something, he suddenly zoned in again.
—"Thanks. Thank you for the report about Krueger, you definitely ruined his nigh with your little fight, respects for that. But now, what do you remember about Ghostface?"—
—"I... All I can remember of him is when I was on the rooftop, I was about to pass out and I think he barged in and... Well, I fainted the second he reached me."— you frown a bit. —"I'm very sorry for not being more hel- "—
—"No no no! Dear, you're actually being an amazing help!"— he hurriedly exclaims, nearly flipping the chair as he stood up, action that understandably startled you.
—"Uh... Am I?"— you ask, quite skeptical.
—"Yes! The fact that Ghostface didn't kill you right away proves that he has some very particular interest in you."— he crosses his arms, looking thoughtful. —"But... I'm not quite sure what type of interest."—
