Thick boots slapped the solid surface just outside the garage, echoing stomping noises as the three tall beings jumped out of the car and walked around to reach each other.

As one of their men took the wheel of the said car and drove it to its destined place inside the huge parking lot, the oldest amongst the three walked a little further away towards the two moving creatures outside in the grassland.

"Is that yujin and.." Gyuvin did not finish his sentence as a wave of anger washed over him while Ricky beside him just let his friend assume the worst.

"Oh, you got to be fucking with me." With narrowed eyes and knitted brows, gunwook stomped inside their mansion to have a little talk with his leader.

"And?" A calm voice asked, very much unbothered.

"And? Are you actually serious right now?" Gunwook's hands clenched in anger. He could not believe his leader and questioned his state of mind.

"A girl that we kidnapped is roaming around." Gyuvin spat through clenched teeth.

"Well she's not alone, is she?" Zhanghao brought the cup of water closer to the plant and fed it to it while awaiting a response from one of the three males.

"He's right, she's not alon-" Just when the blonde guy named Ricky was about to make a statement, he was interrupted by the younger ones.

"You might as well give her back to her mother and tell her you fucking killed her husband." Gunwook did not hold back his anger as he made sure his words pierced through the thick atmosphere and into his leader's brain.

"It was actually gyuvin who ki-" Again when Ricky had something to say, he was cut off.

"You are the leader, but we are no slaves to you. Our words are supposed to be heard too." Gyuvin stomped out of the room, not waiting for a reply from his leader.

He was shortly followed by gunwook who gave zhanghao's back one last look.

The leader sighed loudly as the only guy left in the room glanced at him turning his slumped figure around and finally facing the empty room.

"She went through hell." Zhanghao sighed with both of his palms resting on the edge of the desk, holding his weight, as his head hung low. She went through hell and everyone knows. zhanghao could do nothing about it now that it was too late, but he could help her not lose her sanity completely, and that was by letting her do human things. It was not even like she was alone, she had yujin watching over her.

at this point, they should just kill her rather than force her to stay put inside a room with not even an accessible window. a quick, painless death than long, torturous, and breathless days in a room with a constant reminder of what you were and who you are with that after a while, forces you to accept your faith and beg for your death.

"Maybe make some rules she could follow?" Ricky was scratching his neck with a face screaming awkwardness as he was left all alone with an emotional zhanghao.

zhanghao's eyes shot up at Ricky in surprise, completely forgetting the fact that he also existed in the same room as him as he was so lost in his train of thought.

"I'll leave you now." Ricky quickly said before literally running out of the room.

Zhanghao sighed again before considering Ricky's idea. He should agree on some rules with the rest of his members that fyona could follow without anyone getting worried about their arses.

"And maybe, we can watch a movie together! Tho it seems a bit impossible." The last part of his sentence was said quietly with a hint of disappointment. Yujin was looking down at the thought of not being able to hang around with his newest friend for whatever reason they may come up considering their position and situation.

"We can do that if you want to. Nobody has to know." Fyona, being older than yujin, felt a sense of responsibility over him, trying to brighten the mood in return with a little smile that made yujin smile too.

"You're so much like hanbin and Matthew Hyung. They would say the same thing if they were in your place." He smiled into the distance.

Fyona tilted her head as she stared at the young boy leaning back on his palms that were slightly behind him, holding his weight, while she was curled up into a ball with her knees sticking to her chest and her arms wrapped around her knees, it must be her comfort pose as she has done it more than she could count.

"What kind of weather do you like the most?" Yujin continued with his random Q and A's after a little silence as he had been doing for a while now, asking whatever question forming in his mind just so he could learn a little bit more about his new friend.

"I love light rain. The ones you can walk through without looking like you took a shower with your clothes on." Fyona answered as she looked ahead with a little giggle. the boy stole a glance at her and also smiled.

yujin couldn't help the warm feeling forming in his stomach. he could guess it was because of the little crush he had developed for her over time, but it was more of the fact that she was warm and sweet just like his mother. She was the older sister he never had. the idea of her taking care of him and getting worried over him like his mother used to brought a smile to his face before it dropped when he remembered where she comes from and why she is here.

for the past few days, he had tried everything in his power to bring the girl to feel alive again. She had gone through literal burning hell less than 3weeks ago and had been living silently like a robot who only eats and sleeps, not spending a second in her life breathing fresh air or stepping out of the cube known as her room.

Yujin was determined to help her back to a normal being again. He knew what it felt like to get into this business without a thought of how dangerous it actually is. Watching the female older than her getting tangled up in this business reminded him of himself. He remembers that one time everything got fucked up because he tried to rip off a random guy by promising him a piece of very expensive jewelry, only to take his money and give nothing in return. Only if he knew the guy he was trying to steal money from online was not just a random citizen but a fucking right hand to apparently a very powerful gangster. If he knew he would fuck up that bad he would have never tried to get near hacking and the dark web. But what can he possibly say? He needed money to feed his family. No job was enough to put food on their table and pay off his mother's hospital bills. He had to make some kind of income and fast. It seemed like the only option for him at the time.

Yujin shook his head when he realized he'd been too engrossed in his little back story and pushed it aside as something that happened in the past and that it wasn't all that bad as once he got a hold of it, he was able to live just fine.

"What's your favorite food?" Yujin turned his head to fyona who only chuckled at another question getting thrown in her way out of the blue after a long while of silence.

"Pizza." She replied plainly, mostly because there was nothing emotional about the said food for fyona to make dreamy faces to or continue her speech. Though she did suddenly crave it just after mentioning it.

"Oh, we are having pizza for dinner. Hanbin said he'll order it for everyone." Fyona stared at yujin who was looking down at his phone that seemed to appear from thin air. Fyona could only guess he had asked his older teammates to order it after she said it was her favorite.

she was staring yujin down with a raised brow. "I told him I was craving it." He answered her invisible question with a shrug. "It's getting a bit chilly. Let's go back."

With that, the two waddled back through the long tall grasses that really needed a trimming and to the big metal double door that needed a face recognition for it to unlock.

Yujin held the door open for fyona to enter like a gentleman. Fyona glanced back to where she just was, hoping she could come out again in the future before she finally entered the huge building.
