"Dude, you are not even funny. Stop it already." A feminine voice spoke out harshly at a giggling man.

"Oh, come on. You did your little smirky smirk, so it was surely fine." The man let out a hearty laugh while tapping the steering wheel.

"No. Fuck off." The girl crossed her arms, looked away from the guy, and instead stared at her surroundings through the window.

Tall trees lifted to the beautiful blue sky. Rays of the shining sun passed through the little spaces between the leaves and trees. Tall green grass covered every inch of the area, excluding the dirt road that led them to somewhere the guy next to the girl promised her to know of. The gentle swoosh of wind running past their car's curves and the foreign forest's silence complemented it all.

She was enjoying every bit of this trip, from them getting in the car and driving to here to whatever was coming next. She knew She'd enjoy it.

"Let's stop here." The guy next to her stopped the car next to a tall tree at the side of the road, and the both of them hopped out of the dirty white Sedan.

"Come on." The man motioned for her to get closer when he caught a glimpse of something the two were looking for.

The girl went past the car and jogged silently to the man while tightly holding the huge device secured around her neck by its strap.

"See that." He pointed in a direction between the thick branches of trees with his crouched position.

"Dad, Where?" She asked, cautiously pointing her black device in the directed area.

"Look, here." Her Father rested his other hand on her back as he waited for her kneeled daughter to detect the red bird he found, "a vermilion flycatcher."

"Oh, shit." She cussed softly as she brought her camera to her eyes and adjusted the setting by twisting its lens from right to left and finally clicking the button that captured the beautiful red bird—making that another discovered bird in her journal.

"Can't believe you found that with bare eyes." She complimented her Father.

"What can I say? I am a professional." He sat up while laughing loudly, forcing the little bird to flee in fear of threat.

"Dad! I only took one picture." She also sat up next to her dad with a bit of pout while staring at the picture she just took. "and it's kind of blurry."

"It's Okay. We will find more." He patted her shoulder and turned in a direction before walking away.

The girl also started to wander slowly, trying to stay hushed to capture any bird like the previous one. Her eyes widened when she saw a black thing between the trees far from where she stood.

She didn't have her glasses on, but she could have sworn it was a bird, one she had not captured yet. So without hesitation, she went behind a tree, pointed her camera toward the "bird", and adjusted the setting quickly while peeking through the little hole of the camera.

Once the view was clear, she expected to see nothing but a little black bird with a white chest minding its own business when instead, two pares of eyes gazed back at her.

She was caught off guard and dropped her camera, which was still holding onto her through the stripe around her neck, and looked in the direction the eyes stared at her.

"Yona?" Just when her name was called, the tree she was hiding behind had a piece of it breaking off with a loud crack. She was startled and looked at the broken tree before realizing it had just been shot.

Another, now she knows of, shot was fired at her if she guessed correctly, but it was a miss, and instead, it hit the dirt road just next to her feet. "FYONA!" fyona finally returned to reality when her Father called her again.
