Soo-ah and I said our goodbyes to the guys and headed to our house. The guys told us they were leaving to Do-il's place. Thank God, if not Byung-hee might find out that Soo-ah lives right next to his house. I'm not sure, how long we can keep hiding it from him. And don't know what we would do when he finds out.

Soo-ah looked a bit upset. "Hey! Are you okay?" I asked as we walked side by side.

She sighed deeply and nodded her head without looking at me. Now that gave me the hint, she's upset or drowning in deep thoughts. I thought it's better to keep my mouth shut rather than trying to find out what her problem is! She may open up to me when she's ready, right? So, I'm not gonna push her further.

We reached our house. Soo-ah dropped her bag and went straight into the bathroom after grabbing her clothes. I don't wanna shower now, may be before I go to bed. I'm so lazy. I put on my grey sweatpants, white T-shirt and a black hoodie over it. I flopped down on the bed and flipped through a magazine. Just then my mobile beeped. I got a text from Ji-hyuk.

Ji-hyuk: Hey! I wanna talk to you.

Me: What's up?

Ji-hyuk: Can you come to the grocery store that's near our house?

Me: Okay! I would be there in few minutes.

I wonder what he wants to talk about. It has to be about Soo-ah or Byung-hee. I waited for Soo-ah to get out of the shower. As soon as she stepped out, "I'm going out for a walk. Do you want anything from that grocery store?" I asked as I stood by the door.

"A chocolate would do, anything you like." She said with a small smile. I smiled back and left the house.

I stepped inside the grocery store and searched for Ji-hyuk.

"I'm here." A voice came from behind, making swirl around on my heels.

"So?" I asked with my brow raised, asking him to elaborate on his ' I wanna talk you'.

He led me to the other side of the store. It has a broad and wide window seat with few stools in front of it. So that we can rest there for a while or have the cup noodles or something. I sat on a stool and he sat beside me.

"Mi-hi?" He started, looking out through the window.

"It's just the both of us, now. So, spill it." I said, looking at him.

"The thing is, I'm not sure whether Soo-ah likes me and I feel as if I'm betraying Byung-hee by having some feelings for his girl." Now that gave me a pang in my chest but I didn't show it out. We sat in silence for a while, thinking about a way out of this confused situation.

"I'm just gonna give up on her and move on with life." Ji-hyuk spoke up, breaking the silence.

"What? Can you really do that?" My head snapped at his direction.

"I've to." He said in a low voice, not once making eye contact with me.

"Ji-hyuk?" I held his chin and turned his face towards me, "Look at me in the eyes and say what you said a few seconds back."

"I- uh I'm-- Geez! It's hard!" He groaned and swatted my hand away. Awe, he's struggling hard between his friendship with Byung-hee and love for Soo-ah. That's love, right? Yes, it is.

"Listen to me. Let's figure out whether Soo-ah feels the same way towards Byung-hee. If she doesn't feel the same way then your coast is clear. We can make Byung-hee understand. You aren't betraying your friend until we get to know about Soo-ah. Got it?" I asked and he nodded his head slightly.

"Now, stop keeping your face like that." I slapped on his back and ran away to get something to eat. Guess what? He chased closely behind. I'm dead.
