TWELVE

Mi-hi :

I couldn't believe the sight in front of my eyes. Byung-hee kissing Soo-ah. My little heart had been shattered into million pieces several times before but now it was set on fire and the flame seemed to not go off anytime soon. So, the torture was awful. My eyes got teary.

"What the hell?" Seung-hoon spoke up from beside me and rushed inside the room.

Actually it was just me who was searching for Soo-ah but he joined me too and didn't leave my side.

I was frozen by the door. As soon as Seung-hoon entered the room, Soo-ah came running to him and hid behind him. She was crying too. Byung-hee looked cool. He didn't bother or mind Seung-hoon who was on verge of tearing Byung-hee to shreds.

"How dare you?" With that Seung-hoon lunged on Byung-hee and punched on his face or more clearly his jaw. Byung-hee stumbled backwards and sat down on the floor. There was blood dripping from his mouth. Shit! Seung-hoon tried to kick him in the stomach but I sped up, finally coming out of the shock and stood in front of Byung-hee.

"Stop!" I said what any sane friend would say in such a situation.

"Don't come in middle of this, Mi-hi. You saw what he did to her, right?" Seung-hoon kinda growled at me but I was keen on helping Byung-hee to stand up and protect him.

"Yeah but-" I was cut off by Seung-hoon.

"But what? Are you trying to defend him?" He spat. That did it.

"Look. It's not about me defending him or not. It's not only his fault, okay. Soo-ah lead him on. She could've told him that she isn't interested in him." I yelled at Seung-hoon's face and turned my attention to Soo-ah who had been standing behind him and crying. Tears don't work on me.

"It was so obvious that he liked you, right? Then why didn't you tell him then and there that you don't like him back in the same way? Were you intend to play with him or something? If yes, then be ready receive a slap from me." I yelled at Soo-ah and her eyes bulged at my outburst with little more tears flooding out. I couldn't control my temper.

"Don't talk to her that way." Byung-hee piped in and almost yelled at me. Wow. What can I expect from this lovestruck guy? Stand by my side because he told me that I was on of his best friend? Or see deeper through my eyes and see the love for him? No, way in hell. It's never gonna happen.

"No, no. She's right. I'm sorry. I should've told you earlier. I thought you were only playing around with me and didn't take it seriously." Soo-ah stepped aside from Seung-hoon and apologized to Byung-hee.

"So you don't like me?" Byung-hee asked even after seeing Soo-ah run away from him and hide behind Seung-hoon.

"Are you that stupid?" Seung-hoon asked mockingly which only increased Byung-hee's temper.

"Shut the fuck up. I'm not talking to you." He snarled at Seung-hoon and shifted his gaze to Soo-ah once again.
She got freaked out by seeing the rough side of Byung-hee, I guess. She just shook her head at him. Byung-hee scoffed at started pacing around.

"Byung-hee?" I tried to hold him and calm him down but he swatted my hand away.

"Do you like anyone else? Is it him?" Byung-hee didn't seem to give up as he asked Soo-ah, pointing at Seung-hoon.

"No." She whispered with her head lowered. Seung-hoon looked equally hurt as Byung-hee. Actually more than Byung-hee because Seung-hoon had crush on Soo-ah for a very long time even before Byung-hee could come. So, it must be really heartbreaking to know that she doesn't like him back.

"Then who's that?" Byung-hee asked impatiently.

Just then the rest of the Eye Candy guys walked in, starring at the four of us in confusion. Obviously, not having a clue what was going on at the moment.

"Was there a fight or something?" Ha-jin joked with a playful smirk on his face but yeah that's what happened here.

"Can you?" I asked him to shut up by placing a finger on my mouth.

"Um- I uh- I like him." Soo-ah spoke up all of a sudden and pointed at Ji-hyuk's direction.

Ji-hyuk looked stunned. I didn't expected her to confess, at the middle of a situation like this. Everybody's gaze turned to Ji-hyuk but I shifted my gaze to Byung-hee. He looked like a boiling volcano.

"What?" Byung-hee asked in a quiet tone which sent shivers down my spine. He looked dead at Ji-hyuk's eyes.

Ji-hyuk stared wide eyed and shook his head, yes. In just a nod he told the others the message that he likes her too.

The next thing, Byung-hee and Ji-hyuk were rolling on the floor. Fighting.
