Both girls began walking on the path near the river side after a while. The lights were lit all across the street which brightened the evening. Ashley was drowned in her own thoughts while Alena went to buy ice cream for them.

Suddenly, a man of around 23-24 ran into Ashley with a thud and she fell on the ground.

"Ow..." She murmured as her right palm got scratched.

"I am really sorry...Miss..." The boy said as his eyes caught Ashley's attention.

He was tall and thin boy with sharp jawline having scattered black hair which was defining his aura. His white halve sleeves tee was revealing the nerve coming from his elbow towards his palm which he put forth to help Ashley up from the ground.

But Ashley was mesmerized by his looks and she seemed lost.

"Are you alright?" Alena came running towards her as she saw her sitting on the floor looking at vacant space in the air. Her words brought Ashley's consciousness in the present and she rolled her eyes towards Alena.

"Yes. I am fine." She said as Alena helped her to stand up on her feet.

To her surprise when Ashley again turned to look at the boy, he was nowhere to be seen.

"How come you fell down on your own?"

"That boy collided with me." She replied, her eyes were still in search of that man.

"Boy?! Who?" Alena asked in surprise looking all around.

Ashley gazed at her in doubt and then remembered the face of that man yet again.

"I saw you fell down on your own. Ash are you alright?" She stated giving her the ice cream cone that she bought for her and licked from her cone.

Her words felt like a puzzle to Ashley as she knew that the boy came running towards her but how come Alena didn't see him. Was it all Ashley's imagination or was Alena didn't able to see him when she saw Ashley on the ground.

All these questions began revolving in her mind when Alena held her right hand, after noticing a scratch which was now covered with blood.

"Hey, you are bleeding. Come, let's go to the chemist to find you something to apply on it." Alena said and pulled her on the foot path above the stairs.

They were now walking on the busy street where vehicle's were moving rapidly, and their honks was so high that all other people on the road were talking in almost a shouting manner.

However, Ashley's mind was still lingering over that boy who came and gone in a flash and who was not seen by her best friend.
