Ashley reached her flat after dropping Alena at her place which was half an hour away from her residence. Her house was all neatly arranged with entrance in the living hall. At the center of the living room was a lavender color sofa. A small glass table was placed in front of it. A small kitchen was attached on the east of the hall.

Ashley put her shoes in the shoe rack and wore her sleeper and went to sit on the sofa.

"Who was he??" She thought, taking a sip of water from the bottle which was placed on the table. She laid down on the sofa with a sigh as the tiredness was clearly visible on her face.

Ashley has turned 21 this year and has graduated from an esteem university. She has been in search of a regular job since then but somehow, she managed her college fees and all other expenses by doing part time jobs since the age of 15. It was in the summer that year, her mother passed away. Her father died in a car accident two years ago before her mother demise. All in all, she lived a lonely life from then. Time to time, her grandmother comes to visit her which was her only relative left in her world.

"Tringgg..."

She looked at her mobile which began ringing as soon as she closed her eyes. It was Alena.

"Hello..."

"Hey, you needed to call me when you reached home!" Alena said from the other side.

"I was going to call you." Ashley replied looking at the clock which showed 8:35.

"Do disinfect your wound and yes, I forgot to tell you, tomorrow you have to come to the flower shop. Daisy wants to meet you for the part time job that you have asked for."

"Oh! Okay I'll be there at around 10 in the morning." Ashley stood up from the sofa and went to the kitchen and opened the fridge which was filled with many boxes and some fruits and vegetable.

"I think I'll be having instant noodle for the dinner." She murmured taking the instant noodle from the rack above.

"Hey! Order the takeout, you're having this instant noodle from the last one week."

"Okay...okay...I'll call you in the morning. Bye...goodnight." Ashley tried to dodge her words and cut the phone with a smile. It was Alena who cares for her most in the world. They were best friends since their school time. She was a kind of person who was always there for her in her thick and thin.

Though, Ashley tried to avoid her words, she ordered the takeout as Alena asked of her. She moved slowly towards her room with many thoughts about her future and stuffs. Her bedroom was small but was neatly arranged with a bookshelf on the north wall filled with various books and a table arranged aside the bookshelf. There was a laptop placed on the table with few books and pen stand kept aside.

She opened her laptop, and moved the cursor on the icon that titled 'Personal'. It was her diary entry which she used to write everyday since her childhood. She looked at her phone and there was still some time till the delivery man arrival.

She began writing after putting the phone on the table.

Dear Diary,

Today is like just another day, waiting for any good news about job. But it seems I have to keep trying. Although, Alena is trying to help me find a part time job, now I want to dedicate myself wholly to permanent job. I think I'll find it soon.

There is this boy whom I met this evening. Although, he collided with me while going somewhere, I somehow felt drowned in his thoughts. His deep black eyes seems conveying many words without him being saying anything. Was he real or was it just my imagination? I don't know ... but I want to meet him again. I want to have a talk with him. May be then only his thought would leave my mind.

Anyways, I'll keep you update.

Yours only,

Ash.

She flapped down the laptop with a relief as whatever thoughts were on her mind since the time she met that guy were relieved after putting everything into her daily journal. She came outside in the living room and switched on the small tv which was placed opposite to that of sofa. Songs and then dramas and then movies, she began shuffling through the channel as the doorbell rang.
