I look over and see Iroh happily begging for money, we don't have anything besides the bird horse behind me. I was laying on Iroh's shoulder a bit bored of what was happening around us.

"Spare coins for weary travelers?" Iroh asked the nearest traveler who happily gave up a simple copper piece that he had in his pouch

"This is humiliating, we are royalty, they should give us whatever we want." Zuko folded his arms and sighed but I saw Iroh look at him a bit sympathetically and smile.

"They will but only if you ask nicely" He looks to a woman "spare change for a hungry old man" He smiles sweetly

"Aw here you go" she smiles and starts to walk off but Iroh grabs her attention once more.

"The coin is appreciated but not as much as your smile." he laughs before the girl leaves and then a guy comes up with a cheeky grin, he looks like a normal earth kingdom citizen but i see that he likes to make trouble.

"How about some entertainment in exchange for ... a gold piece?" the man pulled out a gold coin and i looked at Zuko who looked angrily at the man

"Were not performers" he snapped looking as Iroh got up ignoring him.

"Not professionally anyways" I admired how Iroh kept a very large smile on his face while he started to sing a very unique earth kingdom song. I smiled at the lyrics and it gave me some assurance that everything will be alright.

"Come on we're talking a gold piece here" the man snarled "lets see some action" that's when he suddenly hit the ground rapidly with his two swords forcing iroh to sing and dance. "Look at that old man dancing for his dinner" he jokes stupidly. I clenched up and was about to get up and yell at him when Zuko grabbed me by the shoulders and pulled me closer to him.

"Dont stop me" i whispered aggressively

"Don't make trouble" he ordered still in a whisper as he pulled my head onto his shoulder to not make the action seem suspicious and I did as told clenching my eyes shut so I wouldn't have to see Iroh forcefully dancing.

"Here ya go" the man said, tossing the gold piece at Iroh as he sat down a bit more exhausted.

"Such a kind man" he said with a smile with no real joking in his eyes.

"Right," Zuko snarled sarcastically. He kept his hand at my waist and tried to keep a straight face. Moments later we started to leave into the forest like we always did. Iroh like usual somehow found us a cave to sleep and stay in. He put in some fire wood since the sun was setting.

"Rain, Zuko let's go find some trinkets in the market before dark shall we? '' Iroh said he looked so happy about what he was doing and Zuko groaned.

"I need to meditate" Zuko sat in the corner and cross legged. I nodded to Iroh and got up and walked with him back to the village.

"We have ten copper coins and a gold piece" he rallied "so you have five for whatever you want" he winked and sent me on my way as i walked through the market by myself i looked around at all the cool antiques all of them more than i could afford now. So I simply grabbed a small whistle for a few and pocketed the other three copper pieces. I walked along the side and I could tell it was getting a little too dark.

"Hello little lady" I looked behind me to see the same man from earlier who was now watching me with weirdly lustful eyes and I hated it. I realized I had mindlessly walked into an alley. Stupid. I told myself angrily. "What are you scared of?" he smirked "is your boyfriend not here to protect you"

"He's not my boyfriend." I growled, "I can take care of myself anyways." I saw some greats that were surely filled with water. If I could bend it out of them, I could win.

"Right," he smirked, "a little girly nonbender can't hurt an earthbender."

"Oh sorry i thought by your weak build you were a puny firebender" i smirked and he looked at me angry

"I'm no puny firebender!" he's got the anger issues of Zuko. I smirked again

"Yeah?"

"I'll show you-" I saw a shadow figure for a split second behind him and then he was on the ground. I stepped back as the shadow figure grabbed something of the man and disappeared. Throughout the entire time I was stepping back into the shadows. He looked around flabbergasted and then ran off home.

"Are you okay?" I heard the familiar voice behind me.

"When did you get here?" I looked around and saw him in his regular night clothing.

"Answer my question first," he growled. I looked at him and nodded in response and he grabbed my hand and guided me through the streets back to the woods and uncle iroh. He stopped before we reached the cave.

"I have some more errands to do" he said with a slight smile "don't get in trouble again" he chuckled leaving me to walk the rest of the distance back to Uncle Iroh.

"When are you coming back?" I asked carefully, wishing to be cuddled together by the fire after Iroh went to sleep.

"After my errand" he answered dryly "don't get into any more trouble" he ordered before he completely disappeared and i looked back shocked to see him gone. What errands are so important? I asked myself walking slowly back to where I could tell Iroh sat.

"Your back?" he said worriedly "did anyone hurt you?" he looked genuinely concerned for me and i simply shrugged his concerns off

"Im fine Iroh, i promise" i sat beside him and put my head on his shoulder since i wanted to feel some genuine comfort for a bit he grabbed his instrument from instrument night on the ship and started to play. The ship felt so distant and since the explosion I couldn't believe how long it's been. How long it's been since I had been home with my family in the comforting ice cold winds. It might have been hell to some but it was my comfort.

As Iroh continued singing I started to dance to join in the festivities. I wasn't very good but it was all I could do to feel happy. Iroh played more jolly music as I danced and I added a cartwheel for fun and then twirled around the fire. When he stopped he was smiling and it was more genuine than the tree outside.

"Your movements are very fluid and they are a joy to watch" he smiled and patted the ground beside him to talk a bit now.

"Eh Im not that good I only know watertribe dances anyways" I smiled

"That makes more sense since water is fluid and smooth and not at all jagged and rough like fire nation dances." I admired his knowledge of many of the kingdoms ''Or strong and balances like the Earthnation dances''

"Oh and I'm guessing the Air nation dances are more acrobatic right?"

"Right" he nodded, soon enough we grew quiet and just looked at the fire until Iroh yawned and got up to retire to his bed. "An old man needs his rest" he jokes "don't stay up too late" he walked to a rocky ledge to sleep and i just watched the cave entrance for a certain fire bender.

(A/N) im sorry if this seems boring or rushed ill try to add more of my own spin on it but for now enjoy the Iroh and Zuko scenes were getting right now and if you have any questions i will try to answer and take suggestions
