We walk from the arena after Aang gets harshly rejected by the one known as the "Blind Bandit"
"We are going to find her" Aang had said and after some trouble with some boys here we were. The Beifong estate, one of the richest people in the earth kingdom other than the earth queen probably. It was a beautiful estate with one of the most beautiful gardens i had ever seen which was limited since we used to live in the ice cold tundra were flowers and trees were only around the spirit pool which me and Zuko had broken into, to find the avatar, and now we were breaking into this one.
I saw a posh and preppy sort of girl who looked more innocent than she did in the arena. I stepped back from the rumbling sounds and suddenly the three were flung into the air and landed in some bushes. I chuckled and looked at the girl who was trying to figure something out. She walked slowly over to the bushes as the group was trying to get themselves together. She walked over to Aang who looked at her backwards from the bush.
"What are you doing here, twinkle toes?" She had such authority in her voice it sort of reminded me of Zuko when he spoke to his men back on the ship, but it was long ago. I shook my head and went back to the conversation. Aang looked very nervous, probably from the two's last encounter. I could tell he didn't have a true plan to convince her.
"How did you know it was me?" he asked, his voice filled with nervousness at the encounter which made me hide a giggle behind my earth kingdom tunic with a cough.
"Don't answer to twinkle toes, it's not manly" I smirked at his words.
"Your the one whos bag matches his belt" I allowed myself to chuckle at kataras world
"Besides, what's wrong with a little femininity? You act like it's a bad thing "Katara looked at me with a small hint of approval in my words which made me a little bit more proud of myself.
"How did you find me?" The girl said, getting back to the point. I smiled and then looked over to aang who was meant to answer since i barely knew myself.
"Well a crazy king told me i had to find the earthbender who listens to the earth, and then i had a vision in a magic swamp and-"
"What aang is trying to say is, he's the avatar and if he doesnt master earthbending soon, he won't be able to defeat the firelord '' Katara interrupted quickly before aang could make even more of a full of himself.
"Not my problem" she pointed a finger in katara's face "now get out of here or i'll call the guards" she said annoyed
"Look, we all have to do our part and yours is teaching aang earthbending '' I slapped my forehead. Nice going sokka. Now she's never going to help aang.
"Guards, guards, help!" The girl screamed and I ran to a bush quickly to get out of sight, the bush scratched at my arm and grabbed at my clothes as I waited for the guards to reach her, before I remembered that she knew exactly where we were at all times so hiding wouldn't do anything if she was to tell.
"Toph, what happened" the two guards came running as if on cue.
"I thought i heard someone i got scared" she was in a way higher pitched voice than she used earlier than in the arena which i could tell she was doing on purpose. I flinched once one of the guards started speaking again.
"You know your father doesn't want you to wander around the grounds without supervision toph" he was calmer and a bit higher pitched than when he had been before too. Was that what everyone was like?
