What a beautiful tragedy
What a caustic turn of events
I guess I should be upset right now
But I never make any sense
So why bother now?
I'd rather just laugh at my stupidity
Because it really is funny
If you don't look too critically ...
I gave you my love
You made me smile
A typical love story
Making me believe love would be worth while
But there was no happy ending
Your type of love was getting old
Pushing me away and dragging me back in
I caught you like a cold
Giving me a headache
Making me insane
Pushing my patience way past it's limits
Causing me so much pain
I was a fool to think this could end well
Not with you, not at all
I shouldn't have been so surprised in the end
Because it was always your call
Yes what a beautiful tragedy
What a simply poetic tale
Of how you took advantage of me
And my ridiculously epic fail
