Another morning and another boring day at the hospital is here. How boring and annoying.
The doctor who did my check-up left a while ago and I was told I have to stay here for at least two more days.
He says I'm doing quite well so he can let me go home where I can rest in peace of course. Hah.
I wonder what the others are doing and how they're doing... what it's like out there now.
Come on, Felix, you sound like a man who can't go out anymore and has been stuck at home for years.
But this is so boring! Poor people and what about the kids? What are the kids doing here? It should be on TV.
Also, what would my parents say about this? Their adult son is in the hospital. His head's a little banged up.
I wonder how they'd react... if they were worried about me if someone told them I was in the hospital.
But all I know now is that they don't know anything... because they don't care about me.
They haven't cared about me for years. I don't even know if they remember my name.
They don't know that I have a job as an assistant boss, that I've graduated... they don't know anything.
I was never much "good" to them, so they threw me in with my grandmother who took care of me.
Unfortunately, when I was 17, she died of old age. The only woman who really loved me and took care of me.
I don't understand how anyone can have parents like that...
I wish I could have a normal life, have a nice childhood with my parents, but no one will give that back.
"Mr. Lee, you have another visitor here" a slightly younger nurse came in who was more sympathetic to me than the one yesterday.
"Okay" I replied in a bored tone, staring at the ceiling.
I wondered who would come this time. I was a little sad through my parents, but that will pass soon..
"Felix!" Someone called so loudly it made me turn around. There were sparks of excitement in my eyes and tears welled up at the same time.
How I needed someone's company, and the company of these three.. hah, was what I really missed.
