There were so many people that it gave me chills. In fact, I didn't feel comfortable at all. If I could, I'd stick to Hyunjin like a tick, but I can't...
As soon as we walked in, people started milling around and asking Hyunjin questions.
Meanwhile, I was running my eyes around all the corners of the room... I was a bit stressed.
But then my eyes stopped as I made eye contact with a figure a few meters away. Sam... what does he want there?
I stared at him for a while, until Hyunjin started pulling on my arm. I turned around and stared at him like a kid trying to buy a balloon.
"I'm about to give a speech about our project, so come on" he said and pulled me somewhere... No, I don't want to be in front of so many people...
Suddenly everything went quiet and everyone was focused on Hyunjin and his speech. I stood a little away from him and looked at the ground, as I was nervous to look somewhere else..
"Thank you so much and I'm so glad so many of us are here-" I raised my head and stopped taking attention to Hyunjin..
Since I knew there were a few people staring at me, only.. again I was staring at Sam who was staring at me.
All the while he had a small smirk on his face and was playing with his lips..
He was literally burning a hole in me.
Yeah, I get it... I'm wearing a pretty nice outfit, but he doesn't need to burn me with his eyes right away like that.
I felt... weird.
Of course... but he said himself that it's the last time we'll see each other. After what happened at the hospital, it's like he's seeing into the future.
Meanwhile, he bit his lip and I knew what he was trying to do. He's not flirting with me, is he?
Ofc he's staring at me, who else would he be looking at.. after a while I started looking at the ground again.. with the feeling that Sam was literally undressing me with his eyes.. haha.
Suddenly Hyunjin touched me until I jumped a bit "Come on, you're pretty oblivious" he said and dragged me somewhere again. Nothing new there.
