Adam walked almost zombie like next to Lydia as she complained to him about something Jackson had done.
"What's up with him lately anyway? It's been nearly impossible to talk to him." Adam told her between yawns.
"I'm tired of talking about him because right now I want to know how your little outing went with a Miss Erica. Why are you so tired?" She asked him tilting her head. Adam smiled at the mention of her name.
"It was great. Things got a little awkward with an unfortunate condom situation, but things went smoothly after that. I'm surprised you didn't call the day after it happened, you waited the whole weekend. Good job on practicing patience my lovely Lydia." Adam told her with a teasing tone. Lydia scoffed before laughing and smacking his shoulder.
"I wanted to give you time before I pestered you, last time I got so excited I called you before your date had ended and she was convinced you were already cheating on her." Lydia reminisced.
"Allison!" Adam shouted holding his hand up in the air once he spotted the girl. Lydia grinned at the red tint to his ears and his dodge of talking further about Erica.
"How are you doing?" He asked her once she joined their side.
"It's just weird. Everyone's talking about what happened the other night, and nobody knows it was us." Allison said.
"Thank you, for the protection of minors." Lydia said with a smile.
"Lydia, do you think I made the wrong decision?" Allison asked her.
"About that jacket with that dress? Absolutely." She told her.
"I thought it looked nice." Adam said looking her over.
"That's why I dress you sweetie." Lydia told him patting his chest. Adam shrugged while Allison corrected her.
"You know what I mean." Allison told her smiling briefly at the interaction between Lydia and Adam.
"Hello? Scott locked us in a classroom and left us for dead. He's lucky we're not pressing charges or making him pay our therapy bills. Adam wanted to assault him when he found out." Lydia told her. Allison scoffed and looked at Adam.
"What? Priority number one. Without her, I would dress horribly." Adam tried to lighten the situation with his joke and he rested his arm over Lydia's shoulder and pulled her to his side while the girls laughed at his cheesy grin.

Adam chewed lightly on his lip as he played with his sleeve. He hopes he passes this test so that he doesn't hear it from his dad later on.
"Mr. McCall, Please take a seat." Mr. Harris said bringing his attention to Allison who was sitting next to him.
"You okay?" He asked her once Scott had walked off. Allison nodded and sent him a small smile.
"You have 45 minutes to complete the test. 25% of your grade can be earned right now by writing your name on the cover of the blue book. However, as happens every year, one of you will inexplicably fail to put your name on the cover, and I'll be left yet again questioning my decision to ever become a teacher." He told them.
"I question your decision all the time, we're assholes. It kinda turns you an asshole too." Adam told him with a grin. The blank stare he got in return pulled a mock confused look to his face as he shrugged with his hands up.
"Let's get the disappointment over with. Begin." He told them starting his timer. Moments like this Adam was always hyper aware of how good his hearing really was. Tapping pencils and fingers. The clicking of pens. Perhaps that's why he had never been a good test taker.
"Mr. McCall!" Mr. Harris called over as Scott brushed past Adam.
"Mr. Stilinski!" He called out again as Stiles chased after him tripping slightly on Adam's desk leg. Mr. Harris looked over at Adam in question.
"Not my nerds." Adam told him holding his hands up before turning back to his test.

Walking out of the classroom Adam threw his head back with relief.
"How do you think you did?" Lydia asked him stopping by his side.
"Not as bad as I thought I would, not as good as I could have." He told her as they walked off the lunch. Lydia looked past him briefly before giving him a strained smile.
"Want to eat outside with me, we haven't had lunch out there in a while. You can bring your new girlfriend." Lydia said nodding towards Erica who was walking towards them.
"Wanna have lunch outside with us?" She asked her. Erica stuttered slightly still not used to talking to the queen bee.
"That would uh, that would be great." She said nodding. Lydia smiled taking her tray from Adam's hand replacing it with Erica's and leading the way outside.
"Sorry about her." Adam told her with a smile and a light kiss on the cheek. Erica blushed brightly and nodded her head following closely next to him.
