Saiki POV

It had been a week after Saiki's and Y/N's study session. At the moment, Saiki was lying down on his bed staring at the ceiling as per usual. However, rather than contemplating something like coffee jelly, he was stuck pondering a huge predicament: Y/N.

After what happened at the study session, Y/N and Saiki had continued like normal. Y/N didn't address the situation at all, and their relationship made no progress even after he had finally gathered enough courage to make a move. Whenever Saiki tried to bring it up, Y/N would awkwardly change the subject, as if uncomfortable with the prospect of a romantic relationship. It left Saiki completely befuddled; after all, it's not as if he's ever been good at dealing with such occurrences.

Saiki - 'I can't understand her... She even avoids thinking about it at all costs, I haven't detected any thoughts of hers with my telepathy that may help me understand.'

It gave Saiki an unfamiliar emotion: a piercing pain in his chest as if someone had impaled his heart with a stake. Anxious, doubtful thoughts whirled around his mind nonstop – perhaps Y/N didn't like him after all, and only felt pressured to kiss him in the moment? Saiki thought it made sense that she wouldn't like him: he's cold, rude, fairly uninteresting, monotonous, average looking, and more. What girl in their right mind would like him?

Saiki unconsciously frowned as his small doubts descended into self conscious, insecure feelings. He shuffled uncomfortably on his bed, struggling to deal with this onset of newly discovered emotions. For once in his life, Saiki almost felt close to tears because of the overbearing thoughts closing in on him - though instead of breaking down into tears, he suppressed it and simply found a logical conclusion.

Saiki - 'I should talk to Aiura about it. I'm sure she can help, she's better with this type of stuff.'

Saiki took a deep breath and sat up to reach for his phone. He sent Aiura a text detailing a quick summary of his issue and urging her to come round to his house immediately. It wasn't a life or death situation, but Saiki felt as if he'd be completely restless until he got a definitive solution.

Saiki - 'I hope she can solve this problem for me...'

Aiura - "I see, I understand your problem..."

Aiura had arrived about 10 minutes ago, and Saiki had managed to brief her on his problem. Aiura questioned him enough to comprehend his issue, and now all that was left was her solution. Saiki impatiently looked at her as she hummed and contemplated.

Saiki - "So? Can you hurry up already?"

Aiura - "Geez, why are you being so impatient? You have more than enough time."

Saiki - "Funnily enough, I don't. This is eating me alive."

Aiura - "Aw~ you like Y/N that much?"

Saiki awkwardly turned his head to the side to avoid her gaze, with a light, small blush present on his cheeks.

Saiki - "Shut up and just help me. Does L/N like me or not? What should I do if she does?"
