I took the extension chord. It was red and yellow, but I was seeing black.
It was so dark.
I took my towel.
I took my blades.
And makeup.
And pens.
And paper.
I took the extension chord. 10meters long. I wrapped it around the top steel bar in the shower. I tied a loop where the end of the chord hung down to the ground.
I took my clothes off.
Put on dark makeup.
Took my pens and wrote in my almost illegible cursive writing.
"My happiness has left me. There is no reason to stay here. So ah. This is it world.
Goodbye."
I take my blades.
I start at my feet and slam the blade into my skin. I made my way up my legs, not missing a place. Anger bubbles inside me and I can't tell you why. I cut everywhere. Looking in the mirror I whispered.
"Being pretty is a curse."
And oh god, it was. Boys play you, girls bitch about you. I took the blade. Slamming the steel blade into my cheek I squeezed my eyes shut at the pain. But continued to cut everywhere. Tears washed the blood down my face.
I'm dizzy. I can hardly stand. I stumbled into the glass shower wall and reach for the noose. I fall.
But.
I wake up.
In a blood red bath with his tear stained face washing my body.
His uniform still on.
"Why?" I croaked. He shot his head to me as tears erupted from his eyes.
"Thank god baby, you're alive." He wrapped me in his arms and whispered "holy fuck, I thought I was going to loose you."
I moved my arms up and held him tight.
The police and ambulance run in. But he won't let me go. He picks me up and carries me out of my house but I'm too tired to fight.

When I wake next, I'm in the hospital. I forgot what happened. I gave my handcuffed wrists a confused look.
"You tried to kill yourself..." He paused. "Again."
I looked over to him. His face red with tears.
"Do you remember me?" He asked. I nodded, tears stinging my eyes.
"Unlike why I am here, you're not a mistake. You're something I can't forget."
He nodded and walked over to my bed. Picking up a hand mirror, he held it to me. I screamed at the sight. My left cheek had a cut, blue wires coming out, I knew they were stitches. There were cuts everywhere. Tears erupted from my eyes like fireworks. What happened?
"Don't you remember?" He asked confused. I shook my head. He wiped my tears away and whispered.
"It doesn't matter what happened, you're still beautiful."
