I am allowed to make mistakes,
though it's not ideal.
I am allowed to redeem myself,
and I am allowed to heal.
I won't let past hurt affect future relationships
and possibly future marriage.
I pray to keep someone who will always love me
despite my mistakes,
someone who will never let the past get in the way.
I want to keep someone who will know my worth no matter what everyone says,
someone who won't crush my spirit,
and who will always see me through it.
