The inside of Fukase's house was kind of a mess. Everything was everywhere, the sink was overflowing with dishes, and all the couch cushions were on the floor. The red haired boy picked up a few of them off the floor and put them back on the sofa so Rin could lie down.

Rin, tired from crying so much, shut her eyes as soon as her head hit the cushions. She could feel someone putting a blanket over her, then a bunch of footsteps walking away. She almost dozed off again when Flower's voice spoke.

"Rin, someone's calling... do you want to answer it?" Flower asked.

Rin opened her eyes again. Flower handed her her phone as she sat up. It was a call from Instagram; Miku was trying to reach her. Rin declined the call; she didn't trust herself to not break down again on call. Instead, she clicked on the message icon, noticing that Miku had been texting her almost every couple minutes for the past half hour.

Miku: Rin?

Miku: Rin r u okay?

Miku: im worried ive asked around and no ones saw where you went

Miku: just let me know ur okay

Miku: u have every right to be angry at me

Miku: and i understand if you're mad and don't want to talk

Miku: pls rin say anything just let me know something awful hasn't happened

Miku: i'm so sorry for involving u in my friends drama

Miku: u did not deserve any of that

Miku: i dont know what gumis problem is but none of what she said about u is true and i dont believe a word of it

Miku: you're not a bitch and i'm not trying to use u as a replacement

Miku: please believe me

Rin didn't know whether she wanted to smile or cry now. Maybe both.

Rin: im okay

Rin: im sorry for making u worry i just had to get out of there

Miku: rin thank god

Rin: if ur still wanting to hang out on friday, could i maybe explain some things to you

Miku: ofc i want to hang out with u rinny

Miku: and

Miku: there's some things i should tell you as well

Rin: alright, see u friday

Miku: cant wait:)

Rin put her phone down on the coffee table just as Fukase came into the living room, carrying a tray with tea and cookies. Rin felt a sudden wave of affection for her brother's annoying best friend.

"Thank you, Fukase," Rin said, taking a cookie. She hadn't realized how hungry she was; she hadn't eaten lunch because of all the drama.

"Anything for my 'lil sis," Fukase said, rustling her hair.

"How're you feeling, Rin?" Flower asked.

"Better, thanks. I didn't mean to cause you all so much trouble," Rin apologized.

"No, no, we want to help you, Rin-Rin," Len said, appearing from the kitchen with a handful of popcorn.

"I was saving that for later!" Fukase said, spotting Len's snack.

Len shrugged. "Sucks," he said through his mouthful of popcorn.

Flower sat down on the couch on Rin's left, and Len plopped down on her right. Fukase perched himself on the arm next to Len.

"What happened?" Len asked.

Rin sighed. She owed them the story of what happened since they had come to her rescue. Even Fukase, who she constantly argued with, had dropped everything when she needed help. So she recited the whole story to them, starting with the normal conversation the lunch break had started with, and ending with her storming off the scene.

"Miku messaged me," Rin said. "I'm going to see her on Friday... I need to tell her some things,"

It was a sign of how worried the others were that none of them poked fun at this.

Len nodded. "Okay, but if she says anything to you, I'll-"

"End her, yeah, I know," Rin said. "It's okay, thanks. She's... she's not like the other girl. Not like Gumi,"

Len and Fukase exchanged a look but didn't say anything.

"What?" Rin said.

Fukase sighed. "Let's just tell her,"

Len scowled at him. "There's nothing to tell," he said through gritted teeth.

"Clearly there's something," Rin said. "spit it out,"

"I... I don't know how to, exactly," Len sighed.

"The video," Fukase said. "Do you still have it?"

"Yeah," Len nodded miserably. "This isn't going to be the kindest way to show you, but... here you go," he pulled his phone out of his back pocket, opened his photos and scrolled back a little while. He landed on a video that appeared to be of a party. "This happened after you left school, Rin,"

Rin took Len's phone from him curiously and hit the play button.

There were a bunch of students Rin recognized from around school, but the center of her attention, and the attention of whoever had recorded the video, was Miku and Gumi.

The two girls were singing loudly along to a song Rin didn't recognize with their arms around each other. Miku was wearing a black mini skirt and black tank top that was tucked into her bra, along with a pair of black thigh highs. Her hair was out of it's usual ponytails, flowing down her back, as blue and smooth as a river.

Miku began to dance, twirling around and dropping down low, to the applause of everyone around her. She was laughing and smiling at everyone. Truly a performer, Rin thought. But she didn't see what was so important in this video. It was just a stupid party, a stupid video taken by a stupid drunk teenager.

Gumi got really close to Miku, their faces almost touching, the two of them dancing right against each other. Gumi was practically grinding against the other girl, much to approval of the people watching.

"Fucking lesbians!" Some guy called out of the crowd. Rin couldn't tell who had said it, but she did know they were in trouble from the look on Gumi's face.

The two of them immediatly stopped dancing, anger spelled out on Gumi's face. Miku stood off to the side, looking nervous. "Look here!" Gumi yelled in the general vicinity of whoever had called out those words. "I'm not a fucking lesbian, and neither is Miku! I'm not a disgusting fucking whore, okay? So don't go calling us that ever again, right Miku?"

Miku looked like a deer caught in headlights. Her mouth was hung open in a little 'o'. "Ye... yeah," she said, nodding her head quickly. "I'd rather... I'd rather fucking kill myself than be a lesbian, so just go ahead and fuck off!"

Rin had seen enough. She turned off Len's phone and practically slammed it down onto the couch beside her. She stood up, and she wouldn't have been surprised if there was steam coming out of her ears out of anger.

"Rin, where're you going?" Len asked.

"I'm going to go talk to Miku. Don't worry about me being too gulliable, Len. I finally understand the lesson I should have learned eight months ago."
