When all three of us reached the clinic, I was thankful that it was not crowded.
The Clinic is privately owned, in a rental building. It has white tiles and tubelights with brown Sofa's instead of uncomfortable chairs.
Dr. Sreekant believes in making patients as comfortable as possible.
I admire him for this quality, to always think about others' need.
Meeraan is a small district after all, and everyone knows everyone. If not directly than indirectly.
Sree's is fairly young, and handsome, if I must add.
And charming as well. With an oval face cool skin and hair the color of coppery brown and smooth to touch(I would know I've pulled his hair alot, threating him with an early baldness in my childhood) with thin lips and the ghost of a dimple on his right cheek. And purely black eyes with dark thick eyebrows.
He's medium build, with a fit physique.
His father is the Principal in school where my Mumma teaches.
And Sree's mother, Urmila Maa, (yeah I call her Maa)and and my Aunt(Mausi) is friends with her. For Urmilaa Maa my Mumma is like younger sister to her.
And we are sort of family friends and, that also good ones.
He's my brother in every aspect I think he'll make a fuss. But nothing I cannot handle.
After all I can always turn puppy dog eyes on him and he won't be able to resist him, I'll also make him promise me not to tell anybody about this.
Otherwise my excuse wouldn't work and Mumma will be worried without reason.
It was afternoon,so there was a lull in the atmosphere.
"I hate the smell here, but being able to see Sree's handsome face makes it worth it".
Diksha wishpers as we entered the Clinic, and I see that there's only a patient and the receptionist named Shivi, in attendance.
So see, See he's got admirers in my school as well. She's just one of them.
I wave at Shivi, she smiles. And goes back to her work she will call us when our turn comes.
So we three take seats in the comfortable Sofa's and patiently wait for the turn.
"It's all the same in every clinic and hospital,Dikshu. Aadab says, ignoring the other bit completely but I don't. It means Aadab is not disagreeing with her.
"You're shameless, he's your elder by 14 years show him some respect".
"Don't you lecture me, you also call him Sree."Diksha retorts.
"He's my brother for one. And he always encouraged me to not call him Bhai or Bhaiyya as it makes him sound old, it's a habit that's stuck, unlike you.
Who has come here to ogle him behind the cover that you worry about me". I finally voice my thoughts.
She smacks me in the arm,"Oww."
"Whatever, I don't take his name in front of him anyway"
"That's because your tongue seems fractured the moment you see him" Says Aadab.
"Yeah, and your cheeks go redder than the darkest shade of red lipstick you have".
She glares at both of us.
We both chuckle silently."I think nowadays Dikshu's tongue is tied in front of Chandra as well". I say teasingly.
"I don't know what even gave you that idea, but you're totally wrong".
