„Come here." I demanded, and I can see how she couldn't move a single muscle. She was hid well, and if my eyes weren't drawn to her throughout the whole game, I wouldn't know that she was still on that slide.
My head tilted, not understanding her hesitation when she is so very brave to befriend men who hold weapons that was a pen and signed so many deaths already.
„We may be on a playground, but I won't count down from three like you were a child." My voice didn't change, even though I was very impatient for my eyes to finally rest upon her.
I can faintly hear her harsh exhale, and with the way she stood up, I can say that she is ready to rule the world. And yet, as she finally looked at me after she looked over my workers, the only thing she will try to rule is her self control.
Her wild hair managed to hug her face gently, forming around her shape in a way that her high cheekbones still have a chance to stand out. Her usual round doe eyes were hooded as she looked down at me, her average plump lips were parted as she breathed shakily in.
And only with that stare, she makes people grow thankful that they sleep underneath the same stars as she does.
But beauty is also a curse, it's a lovely invitation for hatred and brutality. And it invites me to destroy her whole— a destruction so beautiful like her.
She inched her way to the stairs. And I smile underneath my mask, loving the way I can watch her face freely while speaking my taunting out.
„Didn't you say you wanted to slide?" I know that she could hear my smile through my voice, and I watch with enjoyment as her head turned to the slide, seeing everything, with the corpse, still intact.
Her eyes blink rapidly, her body giving off a slight shiver. Her head was working, thinking her options through. Her once uncertain features turned to change once her lips snap shut with a new determination arising inside her sapphire eyes.
„Nope. Not anymore." She chirped through a cheeky smile send my way, making her way instantly down the stairs as if nothing ever happened.
As she made her way down, I made a simple hand movement to send my workers away. Without taking my eyes off of her, I talk with my highest worker who knew that I wanted something from him.
„Stand by the wall. You'll accompany her back once I'm finished with her." I ordered, and he gave me a short answer that let's me know that he understood.
Cactus was the name she choses to give him. Her relationship with my workers was quite entertaining to watch, but I fear that the social contact for my workers may bring mistakes along the way.
Mistakes like having mercy on her if she happens to fail in a game. Just like she refuses to build friendships here out of fear to let her feelings get in the way in a crucial moment of life and death.
