Ruth

Seyi P.O.V

"Hi Seyi." She was standing at my front.

"Hi." I said.

"Mind if I sit ?"

"Sure." And she sat where Derek sat. Derek was talking to Ruth.

"Didn't know I would see you here considering your fiancee was in my restaurant this morning."

Her restaurant ?.

"Oh.. well a problem came up with my company so I had to leave and now I'm just catching up with Derek"

"The fraudulent issue?"

"Ugh.. no. Something else actually."

"I see. Your friend seems to be calling me Jemima and I re called that she was your uhm friend."

"Best friend actually and you do actually look like her."

"It must be weird seeing someone that looks like your... Dead best friend."

I shrugged. I didn't want to talk about Jemima.
"Yeah."

Silence brewed between us.

"So uhm.. Zina said you both have fixed a date for your wedding."

Have we ?.

"Uhmm.. yeah. I think."

"She said it was august."

August was close. I have not even showed her to my parents.

"Yeah. August."

"Well congratulations then" her face held no emotions and her tone was just plain.

"Thanks."

"I better get back. Ruth has been flashing me stares." She stood up.

"Oh. Sure."

"Nice meeting you again." She said and left to her table.

When she got there, Derek had smiled at her and said something to her and he headed back to the table.

"How was the talk." I inquired as he sat.

"A bit eventful. She wasn't interested I could see but I got her number."

I laughed. "Your really determined."

Derek laughed." Of course... How was your chat with miss Jemima." He smiled at me.

I rolled my eyes. " I have a fiancee and I'm not interested and also she's not Jemima."

He took a bite of his food. "But she does look like her." He shrugged.
