"You need to travel ?."

We had dropped Boma at his school and was heading to her restaurant which from there her and Anna-her assistant would go and meet the engaged couple.

"Yes. Family problems." I lied.

There was no family problem only work problem and by work I mean. Ocean hotels. There are some problems that needs my urgent attention.

"Oh. Family problems. Of course you can go." I glanced at her through the rear mirror and saw her faced etched with true concern.

My heart did a jovial flip.

"I'll be gone for a week." I informed.

"A week ?. You can stay a month."

"Seems like your chasing me away." I teased and her face flushed.

"I'm just joking Osas." I chuckled.

She smiled. " How can I chase you away."

Oh what those words do my insides. I mused.

"So you'll be going today?."

"Yeah."

"I'll pay for the flight ti-"

"It's okay Osas. I've already done that."

She rose a brow. Considering how I'm a driver and was able to pay for a 'flight ticket.'.

"My parents managed to pay." I added.

Her mouth formed an 'o'."well I'm going to miss you then."

"Are you going to hire a new driver for the mean time?."

"Nah. I can drive myself."

I nodded. It was better that way.

I stared horrified at the horrid tweets and it all started from a couple who had snapped with Osas and had tweeted wedding being organised by the famous Chef.

Looking at the picture, it was three women and one man who looked nothing like a Nigerian.

Osas was dressed in a cool blue shirt and an office pants. One thing that caught my attention was her hair was packed up and her scar was visibly showing.

What made her to change her mind about hiding her scar?. Certainly couldn't be what I said that convinced her.

The scar seemed to be one of the main topic of discussion.
