When she takes a bullet for both the man she's known as her father & the love of her life, things begin to change that result in Spencer Cassadine & Trina Robinson finally being together.
Author's Note: another original character will be introduced in this, & she has ties to Portia. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Curtis went straight to Portia & held her close, avoiding the angry looks of Spencer, Marcus, & Laura.
He was the last person those 3 wanted to see at that moment even though he was biologically Trina's father despite her reestablishing her close relationship with Marcus in recent months.
"Is she OK?" Curtis asked frantically as he looked at everyone with him.
Then the elevator doors opened, & a female doctor arrived.

"Who was the gentleman who arrived with Miss Robinson today?" Asked the doctor.
Spencer quickly stepped forward.
"That would be me, ma'am," he said politely.
"I'm Dr. Kathleen Josephson, & may ask who you are, sir?" She asked with a smile.
"Spencer Cassadine. Nice to meet you, Dr. Josephson," he said as they shook hands.
"Could you tell me your relationship to Miss Robinson, Mr. Cassadine?" Asked Dr. Josephson.
"Yes, ma'am. I am her boyfriend," said Spencer with a smile.
Portia, meanwhile, rolled her eyes but didn't say a word because she saw Laura give her a dirty look.
Then Dr. Josephson saw Portia & frowned.
"Lovely to see you here, Portia. It's been a long time," said the doctor.
Portia quickly became uncomfortable. Marcus was the only one who noticed.
"Yes it has. I haven't seen you since we graduated from medical school," she said with a nervous smile.
Dr. Josephson nodded, her frown not leaving her face.
Then she delivered her news.
"Well, Miss Robinson is being operated on right now as we speak. We don't think the damage is too bad, but we're going to take precautions so we can ensure that the operation is successful," said Dr. Josephson whose attention was now on Marcus.
"Thank you. we all appreciate that news," said Curtis.
Dr. Josephson then turned her attention back to Spencer.
"We'll take good care of her. I can promise you that," she said with a reassuring smile.
"Thank you, Dr. Josephson," said Spencer.
"Keep your head up, young man," said Dr. Josephson who then turned & went back into the elevator.
Once she was gone, Portia let out a sigh of relief & sat down, but her discomfort didn't go away.
"What was that about?" Asked Curtis.
Portia just looked at him.
"Just someone I didn't get along with at med school. I didn't even know that she was here," she said as she felt memories come back to her from that time period.
Meanwhile, Marcus was checking his emails on his phone when he noticed one from his friend Jesse at the FBI. He quickly opened it.
"Holy shit," he muttered as he read the email.
Turns out the dark haired guy in the photo that Marcus had showed Trina was someone of major importance. It got him thinking.
Then he figured that he would ask Spencer if he knew the guy.
He decided to try.
He noticed Spencer sitting & chatting with Laura when he made his move.
"Hey, Spencer, can I ask you something?" Asked Marcus.
"Sure, Detective Taggert, what is it?" Asked Spencer.
"I noticed this guy here in Port Charles a couple of weeks ago with Esme & got this picture. Do you know him?" Asked Marcus who then showed Spencer the picture.
Spencer became curious.
Then it hit him.
"That's Weston Pierre Chandler. He was born in France but grew up here in the States. My family has been friends with his for years," said Spencer.
"What do the Chandlers do for a living? Do you know?" Asked Marcus.
"They own one of France's largest wine companies & have owned it for over I think around 125 years. Weston's parents own it now after his maternal grandfather passed away over a decade ago," said Spencer.
"Did you know Weston personally?" Asked Marcus. Spencer shook his head.
"Not really. He's someone who likes to keep to himself. He's a nice guy, don't get me wrong. He's just very private," said Spencer.
Marcus nodded. He was satisfied with what Spencer had to tell him.
Now the focus was on Trina & solving this Esme case.
