Chapter 7

While Dr. Josephson was wondering what to do in terms of Trina's tampered paternity test, Spencer found himself at Laura's home thinking about everything he had found out at the hospital earlier that day.

Weston's revelation about Esme being his daughter Sophia's birth mother stuck out in his mind. He was still in disbelief.

Then something else came to mind.

Weston had mentioned that Esme had drugged him so she could have sex with him & get pregnant. She had done the same thing to Nikolas.

However, there was one major difference.

Weston had been in a relationship with his now wife, Rebecca Faulk-Chandler, when Esme had drugged him & had sex with him. Nikolas wasn't with his ex-wife, Ava Jerome, when he was drugged & had had sex with Esme.

"Shit," Spencer muttered as he laid in his bed thinking about everything.

Still, Spencer did feel bad for Sophia & Ace. They deserved better than having Esme as their mother. At least, he was relieved that they were now much better off.

Sophia was going to be adopted by Rebecca, whom Spencer had met & liked a lot. Having already met his father's girlfriend, London based lawyer Carolina Waterhouse, Spencer knew that Ace was going to be taken great care of with her there.

Now as he finally drifted off to sleep, Spencer could relax knowing that both kids were going to be fine.

Back at the Port Charles Police Department, Marcus was chatting with Dante Falconeri when his phone rang.

"Excuse me, Dante," said Marcus.

"Detective Taggert here.....yes?......really?.....OK, I'll be there as soon as I can. Thank you," he said & then hung up.

"What was that about?" Asked Dante.

"One of the doctors at the hospital has discovered that Trina's paternity test was tampered with & would like to do a new one," said a surprised Marcus.

"Oh my God," muttered Dante. Marcus just nodded.

"Do you want to take another one? I'm just curious, that's all," said Dante.

"I do, but I'm afraid of being devastated again. I felt that way when the first test said that Curtis was her father," said Marcus.

"Well, I think that for your own peace of mind, I think you should do it. Maybe you are Trina's father after all," said Dante.

"Yeah maybe," muttered Marcus.

"So with the information you got from Weston Chandler, do you think that helps put Esme Prince behind bars where she belongs?" Asked Dante.

"Oh God I hope so. For Trina's sake, I do. After all that bitch has done to her, Spencer, Joslyn, & others, I really want Esme in prison where she belongs," said Marcus.

"I don't blame you there," said Dante.

Marcus then grabbed his phone & badge & headed to the hospital to visit Trina & retake the paternity test.
